It takes a moment to figure out how to pull back the ear pieces and slide them tight against your ears as you put them on, but the rest is easy peazy joy. The phone stays on without any issues, though on the Galaxy S7, I have to make sure that the left touch button isn't covered. It doesn't trigger, I just can't gain access unless I giggle it a little over. Details.The fact that this headset is not tied to a specific phone system is my favorite thing, besides the portability. I have a couple other VR headsets and they are locked into their company's services. Google Cardboard, and VR programs that don't require an intermediary player, open up a world of VR possibilities. Make sure you install Google Cardboard, and use the SWITCH option to change to the Stimuli VR 2VR headset settings.The VR 2VR is best used with a remote control that works with Bluetooth with your phone. There are a ton out there to choose from.The clarify is excellent. I was worried about the weight of the phone on my nose and when I compared it to my other systems, there is little difference. They stay on my head, even when I'm looking down or swinging my head around to follow the action.I played this without the shield and the environment around me totally disappeared. Unless there was bright, distracting light, not sure if i would need it, but it's nice to have it available.I'm excited to try these while traveling. I travel extensively and these will lighten my load.Excellent and innovative design. I can see why these took off so fast in popularity. Really fun! I decided to return the item because the right side of the arm was loose that the hook that goes around your ear slides in and out. This issue makes the item feel uncomfortable and useless because the weight of the phone depends heavily on those arm. If one is loose you'll find that the view will become uneven or slip off your face. Now you're thinking, "well maybe that's just one out of the million". The thing is, because this item is cheap, it also feels cheap. Even if you get one that actually fits or the arm is not loose, more than likely with constant use it could cause this problem. Also, even if the phone does not feel heavy on your hand, placing your phone in front of your face with your nose the only thing that's holding the weight. Well, think about. I'd been searching for a way to demo VR apps to potential clients and so far of all the products we've tried these are hands down the best.I like that these are analog devices and I don't have to worry about pairing to my phone or keeping them charged, nothing ruins immersion faster than dead batteries.They've absolutely nailed the optics. I've bought many a pair of cheap VR glasses that either ship low quality lenses or don't take the time to ensure that the lenses are focused at the right point. These got it right, great glass, with the time taken to set it up properly.I also love how approachable these are. With some other VR/AR headsets I find people are aprehensible to try it out. With the form factor of these so closely mirroring that of glasses, people already have some idea of what to do. This eliminates the need to teach people about how to use them, and skip straight into experiencing the magic of VR.These glasses are also super adjustable which was another one of my critical needs. I've yet to find a phone of the dozens of flagships we use that dont fit into the phone holder part. I've used iphone 6, iphone 6+, Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2, Galaxy S8, Note S8, Galaxy 7, iPhone 7, iPhone 7+, and just recently the iPhone 7. They all work phenomenally. Additionally the glasses are adjustable to the size and shape of the wearers face. I've yet to find a customer who we could not adjust the glasses to for a comfortable fit.The added sugar on top is that the carrying case doubles as a blackout hood.
