The package I received does not have the word ORGANIC anywhere. In the picture of the list of ingredients it says Organic Sunflower Kernels but the package I received DOES NOT SAY ORGANIC in the list of ingredients.

In the photo for "conventional" sunflower seeds the package is labelled "product of the USA" but what arrived is "product of Bulgaria."

Like millions of others around the world I follow a modified Paleo lifestyle. As part of that regimen I include nuts in my daily food intake. A variety of nuts help your Omega-6/Omega-3 balance, if you stay away from the choices on offer from "Big Nuts". Their nuts are roasted using seed-oil and crappy salt. I roast mine using coconut oil and Himalayan pink salt giving them extra goodness. I have tried nuts from many vendors but have settled on Food To Live nuts. They are always fresh, high quality and just plain yummy. I buy lots of nuts and give them to my friends and co-workers and they all tell me I have the best nuts and that the only problem they have with them is they can't stop eating them. Yay for my nuts. Yay for Food To Live.

I made these sunflower seeds into a tasty sunflower seed butter! I put these seeds in a thin uniform layer on a baking pan, then roast the seeds in the preheated oven (325) for about 10-15 minutes, or until my nose smells yummy, roasted sunflower seeds! I funnel the toasty seeds into the my food processor (keep the chute open to vent) and process until the seeds make a course powder (high power after a few minutes). I then add about 1-2 tablespoons sunflower seed oil, then continue to process until the texture is smooth (anywhere from 2 to 15 minutes depending on how the machine works that day and amount of seeds). I don't add any sugar, spices, or salt but other folks add cinnamon, honey, cocoa powder, etc. for flavor.

These are an amazing choice for a healthy snack in any but particularly in low-carb/gluten-free/soy-free/high-protein/ ketogenic diet.Spotless, very clean, not a single shell, any kind of dust or any sort of add-mixture.And most importantly - taste is just amazing, fresh, not a single seed had an old/spoiled taste.Amazing price even for a bulk optionHighly recommend, will reorder when or if we will be able to it it all.

I went to my two favorite food stores to buy organic sunflower seeds in bulk and in both cases, the seeds were disappointingly off. I am grateful to have found these. While their flavor is not the most superlative of all the many organic sunflower seeds I've sampled in the last fifty years, be reassured that there is not the slightest hint of bitterness or rancidity. Very fresh. I eat them every day.

Fresh, wonderful, economical, and from a wonderful company. Both I and my birds (society finches) love these. I give them a few a day (otherwise they'd be fat). I also keep them supplied with a growing head of butter lettuce, and growing wheat grass (with a red/white grow light, these each last for a week or more, til they're nibbled down to nothing- the grow light is good for the birds, too). Anyway, my birds love these, their favorite treat, and the best raw sunflower seeds we've had (MUCH better than from the bins at local supermarkets).

Very very good! My husband did some reading about the health benefits of sunflower seeds so I indulged him. Well I'm very happy with these and add them to my boring whole grain cereal as well and they really kick it up a notch. Nice nutty flavor without the added salt. After all, who wants salt in their cereal?? And, my husband has even requested that I no longer buy chips because he enjoys snacking on these instead.

These seeds come from China. I have not seen or tasted any difference between these expensive sunflower seeds and any other Chinese sunflower seeds.

These sunflower seeds are delicious, they arrived very quickly and I would certainly order them again in the future.

The packaging clearly states its from china , the advertisement on the amazon sites does not show this and appears to skirt around the origins . As a rules i stay away from buying food products from china. I will be returning the item , i do not trust the claims of organic etc........
