Excellent bag rest. Lighter than my large Browning bag and a bit shorter but actually a better shape to hold a slim hunting rifle. Point is, it works well. Especially if you already have enough stuff to haul to the range, lighter is nice. You might want to add a small bag under the butt stock for max stability if you are trying to squeeze that group size down some more. Another review mentioned sand leaking. I haven't had that problem so far, but changing the filler to polyester beads would cure this and cut the weight down as well. One review said a seam burst when dropped and I would not be too surprised. The material and stitching, while serviceable, seem lighter than some of the more expensive bags. I haven't dropped it yet, but I've plunked it down pretty firmly, while having my hands full with the portable bench, shooter's bag and so forth with no problem. Your mileage may vary as the saying goes. If it could be rated at 4 1/2 stars I might do so, but for the cost it is a very good purchase. I have a lead sled rest and others but this one is just a handy size and works well.

Purchased this because I heard it really does a good job of helping you zero your rifle. Well, it does. I went to the range today and I am really impressed. Sighted in four hunting rifles, two in heavey caliber. with the rifle placed right in the bag, it holds steady. It even seems to take some of the recoil off, because of the weight of it. I definitely recommend this.

Media keeps leaking out the fill hole fill hole doesn’t seal up perfectly it’s Velcro. Besides that it works as it should

With (or without) a rear-squeeze bag this helps to form a rock-solid shooting base. It’s heavy and solid with a nice carry handle and really holds rifle barrels snugly within its grippy surface. I’ve used it mostly for precision .22LR and long-range 6.5CM; AR’s as well. My shot groups with this bag were MUCH tighter versus using a Harris bipod from a bench or when shooting prone (very little “barrel jump” relative to a bipod). The only issue (my fault!) was when I used it to help sight in my new Tavor X95 with an 18” barrel. I was concentrating so much on keeping my groups tight and didn’t realize that the barrel had slipped back enough so that the gasses exiting to the right wound up tearing a hole in the material and the filler was spilling out. I patched it with Gorilla Duct Tape and so far it’s held well. So use extra caution around bullpups or SBR’s, but otherwise if you need a rest I think it’s great.

This is SUPERB for sighting in guns off the bench! Much Better than the Lead Sled! Comes already filled and EASY TO USE! TACK DRIVER SAYS IT ALL ! Every shooter NEEDS One!!!

Heavy duty, fully filled, you can turn and rotate it for multiple height levels of your liking which is convenient for certain Semi-Autos with longer mags that tend to get in the way on the benches. Highly recommend it after 2 years of heavy gun range use and still going strong.
