If you have a worm farm, this is the bedding you want. (I raised earthworms for my garter snake, because winters are long here in Michigan and I couldn't just go out to the garden.)I've tried other bedding (the competitor's) but it was made from tiny pieces of shredded paper. This dried them out so badly and killed them no matter how much I did to moisten the soil. Plus, you can't see the worms. The Magic product looks like dirt and is easier to deal with.If you need to raise earthworms, I would recommend getting one of the Magic worms farms and when it's time for more soil replace it with the same Magic bedding. Plus, the price for this particular box was unbelievable. Check around and make sure you are getting the best price. Prices are all over the place for this bedding.

This is my favorite bedding, crawlers do well in it ! Don't forget to feed them if keeping them long term
