Got a 2-pack of SFP+ to fiber adapters so I could run a direct line up to a switch in my office from the basement where all the networking gear is. First of all, they did NOT have to go this hard on the packaging. The adapters come in a tin with custom artwork of an anime dude in a lab coat wielding a giant version of the connector that looks awesome. The printing is well made and the info on the package is clear. I actually wanna keep this tin for something now! The devices themselves work as advertised. They seem reliable, well made, and easy to use. No complaints about speed or fit. They just work. No compatibility issues connecting between a UniFi cloud gateway and an off-brand switch. All around worth it. 10Gtek is really making a name for themselves in this space with effort like this and I truly appreciate it.

Well packaged in metal tins. Works with qnap QSW-2104-2S switch and Intel pcie 520 chipset running on freebsd. Very happy. :-).

Used these two fo connect a Unifi Dream Machine SE to a TRENDnet 9-Port Unmanaged 2.5G Switch with 10G SFP+ Port, TEG-S5091 . I set the SFP+ port 11 on the UDM SE port to 10g full duplex and it works perfectly. Though you lose the Unifi in depth reporting it's fine for a low cost solution for more 2.5g ports. Great performance and compatibility. Speed test down 2152, up speed 2431
