It took a while for this product to work for me. I am now 2 weeks in. Taking 2 scoops daily. I have gut troubles from fibromyalgia that causes me to be chronically constipated. We’re talking like 1 BM a week and Im in there straining for like a half hour and even then a lot of the time end up having to give myself an enema.Miralax is helpful for me, but Im a stay at home mom. I dont really have the time to make myself a drink and add in the miralax. So I have a very hard time being compliant with daily miralax.This product is soooo much easier to use. I literally just dump the 2 scoops of powder into my mouth because the product tastes very good. It is slightly sweet, which makes sense because HMO’s are sugars that feed the good gut bacteria. Dumping powder in your mouth might sound like you would inhale and choke but you don’t. I do 1 scoop at a time and it immediately starts to melt with your saliva, while its dissolving I wash the scooper off since it touched my mouth and then do the 2nd scoop.The flavor is just “sweet” it doesn’t really have any other description. Its not like eating a sugar packet, its much less sweet than that, but still sweet. The powder is soft and smooth, very fine. Not granulated. I can easily take this daily so being consistent with this is a breeze.Like I said it took a while to see a difference, but now that im at the 2 week mark im having a BM 2-3 times a week. Im still in the restroom for probably 10 mins trying to go but I am able to go and not having to give myself an enema. My stools are not soft or diarrhea, and I still have to make more effort than I think is normal but its so much better than I was previously. With my fibromyalgia I was horribly horribly constipated before.

Everyone was raving about 'growing up prebiotics' This has a similar profile at a bit cheaper price. Works for my daughter's constipation on the days I use it.

Layer Origin PureHMO Tri-Prebiotic Powder seems to be a great option for prebiotic supplementation. I decided to try this after struggling with bloating and constipation. It is a very light powder that has a very lightly sweet and very faintly milky flavor that vaguely reminds me of a nondairy creamer. It dissolves quickly into warm water and with a couple of stirs into cold water and has almost no taste once dissolved. The packaging also states that there are no eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, or wheat.I have heard of inulin fiber and its potential health benefits,but I was not familiar with either HMO or GOS. The 3 ingredients appear to help support the gut microbiome. The suggested dose is 2 scoops, but it is recommended to start with only 1 scoop to allow your gut microbiome to adjust without causing stomach upset. So far, this has not caused any upset. I think the true results come over an extended time after allowing the microbiome to strengthen itself by supporting the 'good' bacteria.

So simple to use and helps with regularity. Just a little bit of the powder in your mouth each morning. No pills and no mixing in water, although can be added to liquid if desired. Great product from an excellent company.

Mixed right into my daily coffee with no noticeable flavor or texture. I’m not sure what some of the ingredients are, to be honest but that’s just my own ignorance. They’re all clearly visible in the images for you to evaluate prior to order.Seems to work well though though.
