It's hard to resist the temptation of not snapping the stem in 3 and throwing away like cotton ones but am doing my best. Will see how long it lasts. I love the idea of doing without cotton buds and using something that you don’t dispose of after each use, so I jumped all over this. However my main problem is the lack of absorbency. For instance, if you want to use it absorb water from your outer ear like I do after a shower, it won’t do that. It’s good for smudging eye make up, or cleaning a bit of excess powder off, but it much more tricky because it doesn’t really hold on to anything easily. I’m also not sure of the nobbley ended one. I don’t know what I would use that for, unless it was something that was really stuck on well, like dried mascara. I’ve yet to find a good use for it.
