My dog loves to chew and being a super aggressive chewer, laughed at most toys. I couldn't find a chewable dog toy that my dog wouldn't destroy in the first day. It was disappointment after disappointment and a lot of money wasted! My only go to with her was the large Nylabone, but it was hard plastic. In time, she would chew those down to the nub, but it lasted longer than anything else out there. Until Now... spend the extra $$$$$ and get the Goughnuts — Dog Toys for Aggressive Chewers - "Black figure 8 with the yellow and blue dot". DO NOT go for the pretty colored ones. The Black one with the yellow and blue dots are the best and most durable! My dog, a Pit Bull mix, has had one for 2 weeks now and loves it. We have put it through many super aggressive tug of war tests already. She will even sit on the couch and just chew on it... and guess what? Not a single mark on it! I'm a believer! Buy it, you can thank me later! UPDATE: After a few months, my dog pretty much wrecked both sides, in the middle. It was a good run though. No other toy lasted anywhere close to this one, besides a Nylabone... but they are made for totally different jobs. I contacted the company concerning the warranty and was asked if I would be interested in getting a Maxx Ring instead of this toy as a replacement. It is wider and thicker than my original Goughnuts dog toy. He made a believer out of me! I added a rope to the Maxx Ring to continue playing tug of war with my dog. She loves it! It's been a few weeks now and the Maxx Ring is holding up really well so far. If things change, I will provide another update. As stated above, I had no issues utilizing this company's warranty. Unfortunately, I didn't keep the gentleman's name that I spoke with, that pushed me through the process and got me the Maxx Ring super quick. He was friendly and very easy to work with. I couldn't ask for anything better from this company! A company that actually stood by it's product. Who would have though it really existed??

I love these toys for my dog. They’re very strong. She cannot tear them up. They last forever.

We've had this pull toy for about 3.5 months and it's held up incredibly well for my boy who insists on destroying EVERYTHING. He plays tug just about every day, sometimes twice a day, and is very aggressive about it. He loves this tug. We use a heavy duty velcro storage strap to attach it to a rope from a tree in the yard and set him loose. He is known in the neighborhood as the "swinging tree dog", it's hilarious to watch him have such fun and wear himself out. The tug is definitely showing signs of wear, but Goughnuts has an awesome guarantee that I will be using. This tug was well worth the price considering how much use and enjoyment it has gotten.

This is one of the best dog toys I have purchased for my aggressive chewer. She has torn pieces off but she works very hard to do it. It keeps her very busy.

My dog can chew through anything and he hasn’t made a dent in this toy and we’ve had it a week. It’s sturdy and heavy. It’s a great outdoor toy and can be used inside with caution.

So far this has been the only toy that has stood up to my pack. My pittie and Rottweiler like to play tuggies and destroy every toy they get. They’ve had this for a few weeks and haven’t made a dent. They don’t like it as much as other toys (I guess the fun is in the destruction) and it is heavy so my terrier can’t carry it, but I believe it will stand the test of time in my house. It’s expensive but worth it.

I suggest you get the toughest rubber version of this toy if you have an aggressive chewer. My pup has had the large toughest rubber pull toy for months. He managed to destroy the black kong very quickly. In a matter of a few weeks. I am surprised by how well it holds up. I am not sure if the different compounds of rubber matter for the smell some reviewers point out. it can be washed and dried. I use cold water. I get the largest size. My pup is 90 Lbs. I try to make sure he will not swallow anything toy wize to small. He has a great time with playing tug or just chewing on it. This is his favorite toy right now. I just purchased another Gonought toy, The ring. It is heavy but many durable things are heavy and dense, however my dog has no issues. He is an American Bully and so far it has held up. I am very happy because even though the price is a little higher for this toy, it has saved me money for months that I have not had to replace a toy every few weeks.

My pitty is a chewer and this toy has outlasted all the others so far! I want more products like this!

Unser Hund ist begeistert und hat es bis jetzt nicht geschafft, dem Spielzeug auch nur einen Kratzer zuzufügen - und das obwohl er Andere in wenigen Minuten zerfetzt. Einen Stern ziehe ich ab, weil es extrem nach Gummi riecht und ich etwas besorgt bin, dass es gesundheitsschädlich sein könnte.
