A: No - that is sold separately.  Battery Operated, A/C Adaptable.  Requires 3 (AA) batteries, not included.

**Q: What size adapter does this take? Where can i buy it from?**
A: It's used with batteries or an adapter. It takes a 4.5v adaptor that can be bought on Amazon. I personally like to use batteries because I had it on my coffee table & didn't want a cord across my floor.

**Q: Does anything light up?**
A: Hello, this items does not light up, it just has motion, thanks eHobbyTools

**Q: Is this supposed to be so loud when I turn it on or is something wrong?**
A: I don’t believe there is supposed to be sound at all. Mine doesn’t play anything - the figures just move on the ice rinks.
