It’s a strap u can tighten around something. I use them to secure my toolbox in the bed of my truck. Previously I was using ratcheting tie downs which were a bit of a hassle and took a bit of work to get ready to go, and then I had a quick latching rope setup which was better, but that had a couple times in which it loosed while I was driving on rough roads.These are a perfect fit for me, quick and easy to secure, cheap enough to leave in the bed of my truck and have yet to show signs of failure.
