Great stand - well made
Really sturdy, safe, stand with a lot of flexibility. Ideal if you are worried at any event that someone might accidentally bump into your projector and stand. This would not go anywhere and the castors help in positioning/moving etc. The only blemish was that the top positioning hole just below the stand shelf itself was not drilled out and I had to get black + decker to do the job.

Useful for short throw scenarios
I use various projectors in many different scenarios. This stand is useful for a short throw projector in a board room type scenario. It is not sturdy enough for a long throw image

Good value and well made stand great for office
This stand is ideal for the purpose, and feels well thought out and very robust. It is not the sort of assembly that you would want to dismantle for storage, but you can lower the top platform if that helps.

Solid piece of kit..
I tried one of the projector stands that are sold, based, basically on a photographic tripod, but they are MUCH too flimsy to support anything vaguely heavy, they may be OK for a very light projector but I have a Kodak Carousel slide projector which weighs about 4 kg and a Eumig P6 8mm projector which is even heavier! This stand, however, is a substantial piece of kit, the sort of thing you'd find in a commercial setting. It is welded steel construction assembled together with decent allen bolts (allen keys provided). Full height of the top tray is 5ft and it's rock solid, unlike the tripod based ones which wobble all over place (especially when the slide change mechanism operates). It takes about 20 minutes to assemble out of the box. It has castors which have foot operated brakes. Storage wise, it doesn't exactly fold up or anything and its quite heavy but you can lower the top platform to approx 3ft. Outstanding...

Decent stand but astonishingly poor instructions
This is a decent stand, much more robust than tripod types at similar prices. HOWEVER, the instuctions about how to build the thing are probably the worst I have ever seen. Not only are they poor in themselves but they are provided as a shabby photocopy which is, in parts, unreadable. It is quite impossible to match the screws etc supplied with the numbers and descriptions of items that should be there. The first stage of putting the footing together is clear. The rest is not. The best thing is to take it gradually and just put the thing together in the way that seems to work. I would have given this product a higher star rating but for the abysmal instructions.

Does the job - but don't try to move it very far!
It does the job, providing an adjustable, stable platform, but the assembly instructions aren't very clear. My biggest issue is two wheels fell off as I was moving it back to my car, the first when moving it over a road surface, the second when carrying it up stairs. Probably only suitable for use in a single building with a good floor surface
