Exactly what I wanted

From what I can tell this is a quality essential oil (EO). Fraud runs rampant with EO's so you never really know what you are going to get. But if you get 10 bottles of EO's for $20, odds are, they are adulterated.This vetiver EO is a bit expensive, even for certified organic. That is the only negative I have to report about it.Quality EO's typically will provide information like the COO (Country Of Origin), botanical name & the extraction method. This brand does exactly that:COO: HaitiBotanical Name: Vetiveria zizanoidesExtraction: Water steam distillationCertified OrganicPackaged in an amber glass bottle with a reducer top. It smells how I would expect vetiver EO to smell. So far I have used it in a batch of antifungal salve that I make & sell through my eco farm. It turned out exactly how I would expect when using quality EO's.Note: This is the third EO I've ordered by this brand. The other was lavender & peppermint. Overall, I am more than pleased with them all.

I have a bit of an obsession with essential oils. I order them in just about every new scent I can find. In general, I don't care for grassy/earthy scents, but I've been surprised once in a while, so I still continue to try them. I personally do not like this scent at all; however, the description in the listing is very accurate and I honestly didn't expect I'd like it. It is very earthy, woodsy, and smoky. I would probably enjoy this scent if it was diffused into a cabin in the woods, but I just don't like it for my house on a day to day basis. I did not knock off a star for personally disliking the scent, because it is most definitely described accurately in the listing and scent preferences are subjective.The oil itself is very high quality and the price point is excellent for a pure oil like this.I had to remove one star because I find it very hard to get the drops of oil out of the glass jar.
