This Moen high pressure shower head is great. I previously bought a shower head that initially had decent pressure but over time it was barely enough water to get wet. I cleaned the shower head and tried to take out the regulator but couldn't find a regulator in the unit. I saw this one on Amazon and read reviews and the price point was great. The real test was how it operated and WOW! It is awesome. Such nice pressure. Easy installation. Great settings and simple design. It's small but mighty.

Good shower head, sturdy but lightweight. Easy to install, no tape required, nor any additional tools, just manual tightening. The flow is fine and pleasant, and you can adjust it to be "in-between" settings, if needed.

I hadn't bought a hand-held shower massager in years, and I always had bought WaterPik brand. With President Trump deregulating forced limits on water pressure and flow in shower heads, which had been imposed in the misguided name of water conservation, I was excited (as Trump was!) at buying one of the new ones and shopped around on Amazon. I am petite, and I'm definitely not one who likes those trendy, huge "rainshower" shower heads stuck in the ceiling of the shower, with no hand-held capability and are impossible to reach or adjust or aim at different areas of the body, unless you're 7' tall. I couldn't decide between the Waterpik High Pressure Hand Held Shower Head and this one by Moen. I checked the specs, and this one, the Moen, had much higher water pressure/flow rate (2.5 GPM) listed than the Waterpik. I couldn't really tell from the online photos and videos what either one actually looked like, and they appeared similar. I couldn't decide, so I ordered both, so I could actually eyeball them . Moen, of course, is also a longtime, well-known brand name for plumbing fixtures. They were both delivered in a single package (a big padded envelope) by Amazon. The Moen came in sealed, factory-wrapped, professional-looking, see-through plastic packaging that required a strong scissors to open. The Waterpik surprisingly came in a flimsy cardboard box, not even taped shut, with tissue paper stuffed along the insides that looked like Amazon had cheaply packaged it from a bulk supply. I took out the Moen from its packaging first. It was slightly smaller, less expensive, and I was surprised that it was made out of a very flimsy, light plastic, rather than the heavy metal/chrome it appeared to be in the photos. But then I opened the Waterpik box, (not a SEALED PACKAGE), and it also looked flimsy, not like Waterpik hand-held shower heads I've owned in the past. The specs also confirmed that its water pressure was less than the Moen. And it was a bit more expensive. I went ahead and decided to try the Moen first, in the hope that its marketing was not just hype. After seeing how flimsy it looked, I was skeptical. I am completely plumbing-challenged and didn't have anyone to help me install it. Fortunately I own a good wrench and at least know how to use it, so I decided to see if I could do it myself. I was barely able to remove my existing shower head, which hadn't been changed in many years, but I realized that assembling the Moen was only three steps with good diagrams and clear, simply-worded instructions, and I was actually able to figure out how to assemble and install it! The directions were not overly complicated, thank God, and neither was the device. I was also happy I figured out how to install the enclosed washers and didn't drop or lose any! When I turned on the water for the first time for a shower, it was spritzing and leaking considerably. I tightened it as tightly as I could, to no avail, feeling somewhat disheartened. I thought I'd have to disassemble the whole thing and try to get it on straighter. However, the following evening when I went to take a shower, I turned it on and, amazingly it was not leaking a bit and hasn't leaked since! And the hot water arrives almost immediately! Un milagro! ;-) And the pressure and temperature stay constant during the shower, unless I adjust them. I went ahead and took a shower and was pleasantly surprised at how each of its easy-to-access settings was very comfortable and, at the same time, distinctive in its water activity pattern And, of course, with the hand-held function, that made it accessible and easy to use to reach various body parts and get really clean. Best of all, when I tried the heaviest pressure, it was fantastic! I always get deep-tissue massages, and this was actually excellent on my neck and shoulders. It was a smaller-sized water flow than the other settings, but with a much higher pressure, so that was perfect, and I could concentrate it on different parts of my neck and shoulders. My old shower massager wasn't anywhere near as good. I wash my long hair only once a week, so I haven't yet tried it out, but I'm optimistic it will be excellent and will be able to thoroughly rinse out the shampoo, conditioner, and other hair products I use, including when I dye my hair. Yet its other settings are soft enough to thoroughly wash my face. I was frankly very surprised that, despite its flimsy appearance and light weight, it worked so well and did so many functions correctly that met my needs, and it was so easy to use. It didn't act as if it were a "cheap" appliance but, rather, one that is very well built, and its different features all work perfectly and feel great! I was so pleasantly surprised by the end of my shower. It was the best shower I've had in years, including from hotel shower heads at expensive hotels. I felt extra-clean, especially washing makeup and cosmetics off my face, and the high pressure option really relaxed me. I decided not to even take the Waterpik one out of its packaging and returned it to Amazon!

Holy smokes I love the power. I love all of the spray nozzles. It’s a definite by.

I've gone through a few 'no name' showerheads from my local hardware stores and after only a couple of months they all 'seize' and the head can no longer be moved around. This Moen one has been great and I'm still able to move the head around with no issue. It also has enough settings to satisfy my needs. And a bonus: it looks pretty good too! Definitely recommend!
