How well would this punch a hard laminated card stock sheet?

It's hard to respond, because I don't know the exact weight of the stock you're trying to punch. However, I can say this: I've used this hole punch many, many times since I purchased it (and since I posted my review). I regularly use it on 70-pound card stock and I've evening punched some individual 110-pound stock. (I use colored sheets in my binder as easy-to-find thematic markers.) In general, I can say: The punch is a very sturdy device. I've used it regularly and it's always worked for me. You might be thinking of a "hard laminated card stock" that's even more substantial than what I've referenced above. But my experience says: Yeah, you'll probably be fine.
