RazoRock DE1 Double Edge Safety Razor

I ditched disposable razors in favour of this safety razor and I am very happy with my choice. I found it very uncomfortable to use razors with multiple blades because my hairs used to get stuck in between the blades and would scrape my skin pretty badly. Plus I generated a ton of waste. This razor is extremely comfortable to use and blades are extremely cheap.

Nice razor, great deal for the price, bought it mainly for the handle to adapt with an allen set screw to use on older single edge razors ( the #10-32 handle thread type). Doesn't disappoint at that price !

This razor is a little more aggressive than the RazoRock Quick-Change, but in a good way.I would rate this at 3.5 stars, but I don't think that it is good enough(for me) to rate it higher. That being said, I do think that this would make a very good beginner's razor for anyone that wants to learn to shave with a single blade razor, I don't want to leave the ladies out of this, this would make a good beginner's razor for the ladies also.I would suggest that anyone that buys this razor also buy a double edge(DE) blade sampler pack. Not all DE blades work for everyone, and you will need to find at least one(more would be better) good blade that works for you. I could suggest a few blades, but everyone's face and beard(or underarms and legs) are different.

There are better safety razors, but they are not much better than the RazoRock. I like the fact that it has a good weight and feels solid on the hand. If you are into simplicity and functionality over style and branding, you cannot get a better value than this. If you are new to using safety razors, this is the one to get.

You can always count on RazoRock for high quality at a great price ! This razor shaves great. It is just a tad bit more efficient than the Gillette tech. This razor has no overhang on the blade PaulHfilms will like that (youtube). Anyways RazoRock is highly respected in the wet shaving community. Thank you all for providing great products. Nice shave ; handle not so nice

This razor is very well constructed and is very gentle on the face. I purchased a $20 Van Der Hagen DE razor before this one and comparing the two, the $9 RazoRock DE1 wins by a longshot! It is now my day-to-day razor.
