I've always been skeptical about "new, amazing, breakthrough" technology in beauty products. I certainly believe there are different levels of quality and also that one product may perform better or worse on different people. So I was hoping this dryer would make a difference, while being prepared for less than spectactular results. So drum roll please...I personally thought my hair looked silkier, shinier and it did dry noticeably faster, but the shocker was that other people really noticed the difference!My adult daughters to whom I am often apparently invisible, both asked me individually and on seperate occassions if I had just had my hair done, and what had I done differently etc. Ironically, the evening that I had in fact come straight from the salon (and prior to using this product) warranted no notice. I've had others compliment my hair as well. I'm giving more weight to those who see me all the time and tend not to use flattery to judge that there was a very noticable difference.The other thing worth mentioning is that in my youth my hair was one of my best assests in terms of appearance. For the past 10 years or so, its become a definite liability. I joke that it's a fire hazard and I'm not allowed near open flame as it is so dry and so covered in product that its quite flammable. I put a fair bit of effort into getting it to be healthier and less frizzy and I've actually had people ask me if I've ever tried a "really good" conditioner or anti-frizz product. After what I hope is a chilling gaze I let them know I do believe I have tried nearly all conditioners/styling products. So it is a rare thing indeed for me to rave about a hair product or in this case hair dryer and I must give it a rave review!If you possess beautiful, soft, smooth heathly hair this may not be worth the money, but if like me you color frequently and have those weird coarse alien hairs springing up randomly then I would say go for it!

Wow, I love this dryer! The attachments on my old one kept falling off, so I had to find a new one.I reviewed dozens of dryers and even purchased one but returned it because the concentrator nozzle locked in place vertically and it didn’t make sense.After reading the reviews for this one, I decided to spend the extra money (I was nervous about that) and give it a try.Wow, first of all, it’s a nice size, not too big and it’s not too heavy. I have very long fine hair. The fast drying nozzle dried my hair in 2 minutes!!The concentrator nozzle snapped in place very firmly and was horizontal just like it should be. My hair came out sleek, soft and smooth.I haven’t tried the diffuser simply because I have naturally straight hair and don’t really have a use for it.It has a long cord and is not overly loud.It’s so worth the extra money! Best dryer I’ve ever owned.

Overall I like the dryer. It has a name I recognize. I'm still going to give it 5 stars because it does what it is suppose to do and it does it well. My issue is that the cost is high based on what it does. I guess I was hoping for magic and I got a typical blow dryer. It dries my hair and does what it suppose to do. I do have to say though that it seems to be a little quieter than an average blow dryer. The cord is very long - great for a shop, not so great for a small bathroom.

First of all, I love how the nanoe technology actually works (despite my being initial skepticism of it being just another gimmick)! This dryer definitely produces a lot less flyaway hairs compared to all the dryers I've used, including a cheaper Panasonic model. It also dries my hair super fast, and doesn't burn or dry out the ends of my bangs too badly thanks to its multiple heat settings.The main things keeping it back from 5 stars are its design and weight. It's quite big/unwieldy and slightly heavy, so after holding it up for a couple minutes or so, my wrist does start to ache. The handle does not fold, so this is definitely not a travel dryer. Furthermore, the heat setting button and speed setting button are right next to each other, so it's easy to accidentally move the other button when you're trying to change only one setting. I much prefer the design and weight of the EH-NA97 and would have bought that in a snap even though it's an older model, but sadly, it's apparently not available in North America. I still do like this one as it works very well, but wish it were better designed so I could love it.

Really enjoying this dryer. Works really well for my curly hair. I had a really nice/pricey dryer, similar to this one, for years and when it gave out I bought a dept store $30 dryer. I noticed immediately that my hair was getting frizzy. I used that for several months and then finally decided to break down and shell out the cash for this dryer. So glad that I did.I mostly use it with the curl diffuser on warm heat. I get great curls and less frizz. On occasion I use the directional attachment to straighten my bangs or all of my hair and I love that too. Makes my hair silky smooth.The last time I bathed my dog I used the other nozzle that is supposed to be "quick dry." That was really amazing. Dried my little dog in no time. I was happy and she seemed to be relieved. I imagine that if you don't need to worry about frizz, this quick dry nozzle would be great if you're in a hurry.I've had this for several weeks and I would recommend it. Hoping this one lasts quite a while!

This is my second purchase of this blow dryer. I love it! I first tried it while staying at an AirBnB in Japan and that's when I realized I had to have one of my own. It dries my thick hair quickly without drying it out. Really powerful. Has attachments that allow focused and diffuse drying. It also has a curling attachment. Would definitely recommend this blow dryer to anyone who wants efficient yet gentle styling.
