Although this product is supposed to hold the pen safely it really doesn’t, the pen slips out of the holder as it doesn’t have a flap to keep it in place. Also it is not leather as advertised it PU cheaply made and expensively sold, total waste of money i would return but I’m away until after the return date.Depending on which way you hold the iPad the pen will definitely drop out as it has with me a couple of times

Seems dumb, I know, but let me tell you - I literally never carry my iPad without this on it. I use this to double secure my apple keyboard and pencil when carrying it loosely around or shoving it in my backpack. I would often drop or throw my Apple Pencil on accident when moving my iPad because it was just connected by magnet, but this little pencil holder is so handy. I haven’t misplaced the pencil since, and it’s super convenient.

Easy to use & a firm fit for the pencil

I bought this as an "experiment."My iPad Air case has a convenient slot for the Apple Pencil already. Unfortunately, the pen holder on my Galaxy S9 FE+ case only fits the included S-Pen and the Creator Edition S-Pen (CES-Pen from now on) is too large for it.Since my Apple Pencil 2 and CES-Pen are virtually the same dimensions, I bought this for my CES-pen and am happy to report that it fits it very well. I'm so happy to have a more "secure" (don't trust the magnets) holder for my CES-Pen on my Galaxy tablet now.The CES-Pen is very slightly shorter than the Apple Pencil 2 (less than a centimeter), but it's not so short that it'll get stuck in the holder or is difficult to grab and just pull out.Edit: I did end up crumpling a tiny piece of index card to shove down in it so the pen would stick out a teeny bit more. It wasn’t “bad” before (as pictured in the included image), but I certainly think it’s better, now.

Lightweight case that feels durable and protects my 2018 iPad nicely. The angles that it props up my iPad to is great for taking notes in lecture.

I was looking for a way to keep my Apple Pencil 1 close by my iPad. And since it doesn’t stick to the iPad magnetically like the Pencil 2 does, I decided to try this case. It seems ingenious, just strap it to the iPad case! What I didn’t realize is that with me Smart Cover, I like to fold it behind the iPad, FLAT. Well, with this holder, I can no longer do that which is why I subsequently ended up returning it. I guess I should’ve thought of that when I placed the order. So this pencil holder works fine, it does exactly what it says it will, just know that your Smart Cover or similar cover will be on top of this case.
