Strike King Bitsy Bug Jig

When the fish just don't seem interested in anything else, these little jigs are the way to go. I'm not a huge fan of the Drop Shot or Wacky Rigs and don't keep either of those rigged up all the time. But when you know you need to switch to a smaller finesse bait this is a quick way to rig something up and get back to fishing in a hurry with out all the rigging hassle, just tie one on, slap on your favorite soft plastic for a trailer and your done. This is a favorite of mine for fishing small ponds or even large lakes that see a lot of fisherman every day. I try to use the lightest one I can throw to make sure it falls/sinks as slow as possible. About my choice of trailer, sometimes I add the biggest attention getting "creature bait" I have if I'm wanting to add bulk to the bait. If I want to keep it simple and small I just pinch off a back end of a old used curly tail worm or even a stick bait (senco). When these drop below $2 it's well worth getting a couple to have on hand. I keep waiting for the Black/Blue to get in that $1.70 price range.... Amazon???? Can you make that happen?Anyways, these Strike King Bitsy Bugs are a quality made lure and no I don't fish with them every time but I also don't go to the water with out at least one or two (one dark and one light colored) in the tackle bag. They get my recommendation.

This little jig is definiticely worth the money. Heavy enough to cast far on light gear but not too big to scare fish away. With a small trailer is great too. Getting more for sure.

Is nice

Don’t let the small size fool you, these jigs catch big fish. These have become my favorite finesse jigs. I usually pair these with a baby rage craw and have great success.

i LOVE these jigs. Not sure why I like them so much more than the other jigs I've used. Maybe it's just the confidence i have in them and it makes me use them more, but I just seem to catch more fish on these. Oh, and the hooks are very sharp.
