I spent about two weeks looking through every inexpensive brand of crew style undershirts, including ones from the bigger brands. Even after reading some less than appealing reviews, I settled on Gildan brand, as they came in packs with the best value versus other brands. I had initially settled on the regular cotton crew, but those suddenly went out of stock. I did another search, then found the Platinum cotton crew T-shirts.It took a few days and they came packed in a sealed package, all 5 shirts. I tried on 3/5 on the first day and I've just recently tried on the 4th shirt and the size is accurate in each one. I always wash my clothes in cold, and I hang dry and the shirts held up well with no shrinkage like some had reported. They fit just as soft, just as roomy as when I first unpacked them. I'm a 5'6, well curved female and I typically will buy men's 2Xl shirts for roominess and comfort. Depending on the make or brand they'll either fit to form, or fit loose. These in my opinion fit as a 2XL in men's should on a woman my size; loose, but not baggy and comfortable as well as very breathable.I've only had one issue with these shirts, and it was only on one. The underarm came slightly unraveled in maybe a 3 inch section. It was easy to fix and no other threads came undone. Personally, for shirts as inexpensive as these, needing to sew a 3 inch section of ONE sleeve isn't at all a problem. Besides that one issue, I've been putting these through a lot of work, heavy lifting, and leaning up against sharp things (as well as holding a wriggly cat) and no other rips or loose threads have popped up.So, long review short- I would definitely recommend these and may also buy them again. They fit great, they feel great, and at the end of a long work day, they're very comfortable and help to keep me cool. Also, on top of being AMAZING undershirts, these are fantastic for lounging around the house. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very nice tee shirts. *by on Reviewed in the United States January 7, 2019* I have never been a huge fan of Gildan tee shirts given the ones I have seen for sale in Ottawa where I live seem to be of a lower quality and price. However, I was pleasantly surprised when this package of tee shirts arrived. The fit is perfect. However, I say that with the caveat that I am waiting to see if they will still fit properly after a few warm washes.The other thing that impressed me was the soft, almost "polished" feel of the cotton. This suggests a garment of a higher quality than the normal run of tee shirt. The stitching along the shoulder line on each side of the shirt as well as around the neck is very nicely done. This also suggests a higher quality garment as well as assuring a really nice finish. I might add that the cotton is neither too light, nor too heavy, so I'd guess they could be worn comfortably either as an undershirt or just by themselves.I have always had a problem with sagging necks on tee shirts as they age. I prefer a tighter fit around the neck and only my higher priced tees seem to be able to meet this desired fitment over time. Whether or not these Gildans will do so remains to be seen. For now, they exhibit no sag, but again, the proof will be after a few warm washes.For the price, these "Platinum" Gildan shirts seem to be a pretty good buy. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great value, solid product *by on Reviewed in the United States December 6, 2016* Gildan Platinum Men's 6-Pack Crew Neck T-Shirt, White, MediumThe product was as expected in terms of sizing. I am on the small side of average height at 5'7" and about 149 lb, the garment fits well - it's not too tight under the arms, and is a good length. The finish is of a high standard, and it comes well packaged.My two points of contention would be:1. The fabric is far thinner than the Gildan cotton tees I purchased about a decade ago. Those are still going strong after hundreds of washes and season upon season of wear. I can bet that this lot won't last that long - a few nicks will soon turn into holes.2. The neck is either a little small, or it is positioned fairly high up.
