These are a gaming headset, but all the things that make them great at gaming, makes them great at Zoom calls. They are very comfy and don't get tiring to wear over a long day. In addition, the headphones don't have the skewed sound profile of gaming headsets, so they are ideal to listen to podcasts and music while working.

The headset sounds great but the earcups were too shallow and the clamping force was too much so they were uncomfortable.

I ordered it because of the very good reviews on YouTube. I was expecting it to be uncomfortable but not this much...I will give my honest opinion about this headset, so you can decide if you want to buy it or not.ComfortAs I said above, I've seen many people complaining about the comfort and they are rightfully doing so. This headset is probably the most uncomfortable one I have ever tried, and I tried Razer, Logitech, Corsair, EPOS (H6 Pro), Sennheiser, but all of them were much more comfortable. You will definitely feel pain just after a few minutes of wearing them. I tried to wear them for a bit longer, I thought I might get used to them, but no...SoundI tried them in Apex Legends and I can say I had no issues in telling were the enemies were. The sound is amazing, probably the best I have ever heard for FPS games ! I currently use the EPOS H6 Pro and I can really tell a difference between them when it comes to locating enemies. The MMX 150 are considerably better in this aspect.ProsA good thing about it is that you don't need a software for them. Just plug and play.The augmented sound option is great, allowing you to either hear things like doorbell, phone calls, etc. I believe this would give you a nice open back sound atmosphere in games.The quality of the materials they used is great, the headset feels very sturdy, very well made.ConsBot 3.5mm and usb cables are quite short, I would have liked them to be a bit longer.The USB cable has a lot of cable noise, A LOT ! Every time you move around you will hear that noise for sure.With those being said, I will have to return my headset.

Beyerdynamic have a great name for themselves when it comes to headphones ad microphones. Sadly I can't recommend the MMX150's where the sound quality is look sticking your head in a swimming pool and hoping for a pleasing sound quality. You won't find one.At the time of this review the MMX150's cost me £89 and I can honestly say that I could find things worthy of £89 to be more enjoyable and better to the ears than this waste of materials. The microphone fits snuggly in and does have a decent sound quality but after that, you begin to wonder if you've put your head into that swimming pool. Disappointment only starts from here on in....The sound is hollow, soul-less and not engaging at all. The bass and the mids are there mixed in...there...somewhere....without much in the way of treble. All combined inside the covered plastic-ness that surrounds the experience. You'd expect the sounds to be clear, separate and a full range of details. Instead, its like sticking two half shell plastic coconuts onto your ears. And for that you should be grateful for a product that proudly bears Beyerdynamic's name on it. Don't be fooled. It is not an enjoyable experience.The volume control is on the left hand side of the "coconut" headphone with its fancy "augmented" mode. Well, if you use the 3.5mm jack..."augmented" mode becomes "I'm sorry I don't have that" mode. The volume control also stops working which means EVERYTHING IS VERY LOUD THANK YOU VERY MUCH. Don't ask me about the USB-C to USB-B connection as I gave up fiddling around after hearing what came out of them. And what exactly is "meta voice engineering" exactly?? I'd rather have "better sounding engineering".The more companies these days whack "gaming" onto products, thump up the price and point at it going "oooooo...shiny" while winking at you really needs to stop. Yet another "gaming" product that is designed to "game" your bank balance.The MMX 150 is a waste of parts and materials in which I can't recommend at all. Avoid this product.

Tested these for podcasting where zero latency mic monitoring is essential, and this feature is available on this headset when using the usb interface. But the monitor volume of the mic is insufficient. The mic is designed for speech but not broadcast quality direct due to the design. Disappointing. Probably ok for gaming but that’s it.There are better headsets for podcasting out there and not much more expensive than these.

Best headset I’ve used so far, however it only lasted 6 months of regular use..The USB C slot is not secure enough to support the cord when moving your head and it often disconnects while cable still attached to headset..after 6 months the usb CV cable disconnected yet again and as I pushed it back in place the headset started emitting a low frequency noise completely frying mic controls.. now I have a headset that can output sounds but the mic doesn’t work.. even worse if you try to speak, nothing but deafening low frequency noise comes out

Es ist perfekt fürs Spielen und gleichzeitiges Kommunizieren mit meinem Team oder Freunden. These headphones are really really good nice sound quality great features and are comfortable. But they aren’t for my ears, extended time of me wearing them makes my ears hurt and it eventually starts to suffocate my ears by trapping lots of heat though that might just be me. Other than that it’s amazing and worth the buy

The product has a severe manufacturing quality defect. Within just few times of normal use, the leatherette material on the headband has split and torn open right from the joint, exposing the foam inside There is no external accident or rough usage the material's stitching glue failed on its own.
