Flowmaster 9425502 50 Series Delta Flow Chambered Muffler

I installed this muffler on my 2003 Toyota tundra V8 4X4. My first exhaust was a #Gibson cat back single entry with dual outlet then only the muffler was replaced after 9yrs with a #MagnaFlow and now once again after 9yrs I had to replace the muffler and the 2 exhaust pipes due to rust. with this #Flowmaster people will know that you have a V8 under the hood but the sound inside the cab will be as close to the original muffler as possible. This all comes down to personal choice… How much sound are you willing to put up with? Put on my 1986 GMC jimmy with a SBC 350, thought it was going to be a little louder but whatever. Doesn’t sound bad though.

After all the issues with the shipping, I finally got it and had it installed. The fit was awesome, a direct replacement in the OE position.The performance from this muffler can be felt. I am a bit disappointed with the sound. The description said moderate, but it is actually quite mild in sound. I was expecting a bit throatier sound, one you could hear at idle and under acceleration. I would sit recommend it for its performance, but would pick another muffler for a more noticeable sound!

Sturdily made from thick steel. Should last pretty long. Sound is perfect on my V6 Jeep Liberty. A bit louder than stock at idle and low speed but not loud at highway speed.
