Can you also use lighter weigh yarn (such as sock yarn) on this loom or does it only accomodate worsted as specified on front of box?

I have used worsted weight as well as sock yarn on this loom. Having said that, I prefer to use sock yarn (#1 weight) . Socks made with sock yarn turn out extremely good for me...nice fit and they feel great on my feet.

Would this product be easy to use for a blind adult?

I’m visually impaired. I think a visually impaired/blind person CAN learn to knit on a loom with a sighted guid to provide orientation until s/he has the loom and the steps of the project mastered. I’ve tried several times to learn to knit and it’s just too challenging for me to learn for the first time. Caio.

How many hours to make one sock? Let's say one color, no patterns. I know it'll vary by person, but any answers appreciated.

I can make a one sock in a day. About 6hours of knitting

I see there are 3 different american knitting board sock looms. would this be the best one to start with? (i've never made socks on a loom before.)

You might decide first on whether you want to use fine yarns or worsted. The looms are for different weight wools. Also, one is adjustable for various sizes and another just makes adult size socks.
