These are great CO2 detectors. We currently have 52 of them in our establishment. We have used this brand for many years, so I know a little about them. Like the fact that they have a 5 year warranty from the "DATE OF MANUFACTURING" not from the date of installation. So when I received my order of CO2 detectors that are almost a year old already I feel that I am getting scammed out of a whole year of use. Like I stated before, they are great CO2 detectors. They are expensive and when paying that price per unit, one wants to get as much use out of them that we can.

This specific model is needed to connect to an alarm monitoring panel as it has relays to signal Smoke and CO alarms. This brand is more expensive than the consumer grade but they work very well.Note - another reviewer complained about getting a unit made a year ago. I spoke directly to the manufacturer and their (very fast responding and friendly) expert told me that the 5-6 year lifespan of the sensor begins when you install it. So I’m not worried about “losing” lifespan. Note that all CO sensors degrade over time as far as I can tell. The end of life is a safety feature and recommended by experts anyway to maintain your protection.
