BUILT Puff Protein Bars, Coconut, 17g Protein - 12 Count | Protein Snack Bar with Collagen, Calorie Conscious, Gluten Free

I've been wanting to try this forever. I never see the BUILT Puff bar options in store. I really didnt want to buy a case, but recently I decided to splurge. Glad I did! I already want more, and I hope they have more flavors actually available soon. Many are unavailable :(I wanted to try them because I love chocolate covered marshmallow. I really prefer it when the marshmallow is firm and kinda chewy rather than soft. I joke that I like stale marshmallow. But man, when I get those egg cartons at Easter time that are filled with chocolate covered egg shape marshmallows, there is always a couple of "tough" ones in the bunch, and THAT is what I like. Same goes for other holiday offerings of this ilk.So I bit into this and was in heaven. It has that firm, dense chew, that tough marshmallow texture that I yearn for. If these were extra soft, I wouldnt be as impressed.This is very much actual marshmallow, and I am surprised that more "protein" bars dont utilize it. Gelatin has protein. I have made my own marshmallows before, so I may get back to that. For best utilized protein in form of collagen, we want hydrolyzed, but hydrolyzed doesnt "gel", hence we want non-hydrolyzed collagen, or "gelatin". This uses both, so both of both worlds. Also whey protein, but manages to not have a whey protein taste.The outer chocolate is ok. It isnt delicious, more of a vessel for carrying the marshmallow. Very basic "chocolate".Definitely more of a candy vibe. Never would think this was a protein bar,Very pricy though. These are small bars, maybe 4-5 bites max. I dont rate on price though--we can all see price, have different budgets, needs, preferences, and for me.. desires. lol. I just really wanted to try it, and now that I know that it is what I want texture wise, I will likely buy more. Hope to see a sale, coupon, or subscribe and save offer soon.BTW, the option I bought is coconut, and it has a light coconut flavor. I also tried these upon delivery, which was a very cold day. Not sure if the marshmallow gets softer (hope not), but if it does, then I know to enjoy these direct from fridge.

One of the best protein bars I had. Taste like a well known candy bar. Great treat when want something sweet.

I’ve ordered these from this seller at least twice, maybe three times. First two times, great, perfect, wonderful. This time, melty and not so perfect. I’m in Louisiana and temps are already in the 90s some days, so very likely a transport issue. The company responded VERY quickly and professionally, even following up when I didn’t reply to their proposed resolutions right away. They gave me a choice of either replacement or refund, with the warning that they wouldn’t be able to refund it if it came damaged again. For now, I took the refund, but I will absolutely be purchasing from the seller again. I’ll just be waiting till after summer is over.

My daughter suggested these to me- so I took a shot. I am extremely glad that I did!! The inside is very light & whipped, which I like. The chocolate & coconut bar makes me feel guilty eating it- I loved it. No chalky taste, but still awesome amount of protein & low calorie. I can’t wait to try the others!!

I love these! They fill me up, easy to chew and 17 grams of protein. For me, win, win, win!

I got a few of these from the store when I had gestational diabetes because I was craving something sweet. These are so delicious. I now order them in bulk and I am no longer pregnant. They are my favorite. I’ve made a bunch of family members try them and they like them too. The coconut flavor is my favorite but I do like the others. They really taste like a real candy bar. Delicious! The quality has been great, in store and from being shipped by Amazon. I like buying on Amazon vs the store because you can get a bigger box and more flavors are available. When I have a craving for sweets I grab one and it makes me feel satisfied. It doesn’t have that weird protein flavor that most bars have. I love the texture. It’s like the chocolate covered marshmallows you get during the holidays.Edit- I tried the churro ones and they are really gross. My son and I both couldn’t have more than one bite. They tasted like vomit, no lie. Going to have to stick with the coconut and banana ones

I usually love this flavor, but something went wrong here. Maybe it was the delivery heat and smashing around, but it does not taste the same and the color on the inside is even different. I’ve included a pic for an individual bar from the store with a white interior and one from this box which went brown and tastes chemically. Keeping the rating up higher than this box represented because they usually are very good

This Built Bars flavor is my Ultimate favorite. I don't have anything negative to say about them, they are chocolate covered, I am aware that they are not a candy bar with less sugar, but they are delicious.

Delicious. I'm obsessed with these protein bars. Basically just chocolate covered marsmallows. There's no sickly artificial protein taste. Good protein to calorie ratio. The price is criminally high though.

Very tasty protein bar with subtle coconut flavour, no aftertaste. Nice marshmallows texture.

If you eat protein bars. You will like these. Most have that chalky taste. These are not like that. These have a marshmallow feel. Taste awesome. They may too good.
