The card slots in my Carhartt leather, triple stitched, wallet are not loose.

Yes, the manufacturer states this wallet has RFID protection.

Does the nylon version have a pocket/compartment for coins anywhere?

No it doesnt have a coin compartment .This wallet didnt hold up very good used it for about 2 months and the lining started tearing

Does this product have a pocket for change? Or is there a hole in the middle like other wallets?

Yes. On the outside flap is a zippered pocket for change.
