Compact and perfect for on the go
I purchased this for a mini projector and tbh I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The hand screw is easy to affix to the adapter on my projector and though compact the base provided by the retractable legs keeps the projector stable and safe, zero wobbles or shaky movies! Whether it's for a camera, phone or projector I highly recommend this product!

Needs Improvements, but Average
I bought this mini-tripod so that I could shoot at a very low-angle and use a remote shutter. I have seen several fascinating images of cars from low-angles that dramatically demonstrate perspective-- classsic art theory beautifully implemented.I have noticed professional photographers doing hand-held low-angle shots, but I dislike the risks of getting a poor result. Also, a setup with tripod and remote shutter is a much more comfortable situation and more or less guaranteesa steady, clear and satisfying result. Why not avoid the possible waste of considerable time? I have image stabilizationin my lenses, but I would rather not depend on IS alone in awkward, off-balance positions.I will admit that I was somewhat disappointed by the implementation of this mini-tripod, then.It adjustment wheel is smooth, not ridged for one's fingers and so ill-fitting that it wobbles before even beingengaged with my camera. I quickly replaced it with a spare in my camera accessory box at home, then discarded it as trash (literally).Another problem is that the tripod legs are too short. It is not as stable as it should be on that account. Further, they have a very limited range of positioning. I actually wanted the piece to get closer to the ground, if not flat,as much more expensive mini-tripods can do. You must be careful as to how you arrange the legs with the camera or else it will be quite unstable. I would not think a projector would be easily used with this mini-tripod at all, then. The largerdimensions could be problematic. I have no confidence that this mini-tripod would handle winds of any sort. Similarly,a heavier/expensive camera could probably NOT be used with this unit.A third problem is that the cutout for the 90-degree tilt (or slightly more) is not really effective.I have a very lightweight camera and would use the mini-tripod while a short, wide-angle lens would be attached, but well before 90-degrees is reached, the whole assembly tips over! What is this??The only way I could find success is when the camera bumps up against one of the legs on the mini-tripod,which leaves it pitched at about 80 degrees. Not pleased. Maybe some gaffer tape on an opposite leg will allow thefull 90-degree tilt setup. Otherwise, I'll need to correct the angle in a photo editor. So a deduction of 1.5 stars, due tothe stubby legs and this limited head. Plus, another deduction of half a star for the wimpy tightening unit that I had to replace. It is a rather flimsy unit, but I was not expecting a solidly-built unit at this price point. It will be used only occasionally,so I need not overpay for my needs. However, if I do find myself doing more low-angle shots, then I must certainly makean investment in a decent mini-tripod.For now, it seems worthwhile as long as it does save time and facilitates good photographs.Be well.Be safe.A.
