Did not work- so sad!
I ordered this for a family trip so that I could share headphones with the kids while we watch a movie in flight. The plugs actually worked to plug everything in, but only one person could hear at a time instead of all three it seemed to short in and out or go two different headphones instead of all three at the same time. Super sad cause I needed this and we were not able to watch a movie together. Not sure if it was a one off or just not great quality. The sound was also very low even on the one that did work so you would have to turn everything up very loudly and you could still not hear well Returned.

Good for listening and charging, can't mix and match headphone types.
We bought this so our kids could both watch a movie on the iPad while traveling, using wired headphones we already had. Works great if you want to charge while using old style headphones, or use 2 audio jack style headphones. You can't mix headphones connection types ie use a lightning connector headphones and an audio jack headphones at the same time.

Head phone splitter
I purchased this splitter so my kids could both use the same media at the same time and it is terrible. You can barely hear anything when using it no matter how loud the volume is. I tried cleaning it and wiggling it in place but nothing worked. Not worth the money at all.
