BlomusBasic Stainless Steel Butter Dish, Medium

We bought this to use for standard USA butter (we use Kerrygold). We got it and I initially thought, "I'm not sure if we should keep this. The size is strange." I looks more like a large covered soap dish, if you're picturing it. Now it's bigger than a standard dish (it's wider, but not as long), and our sizes will fit in it if you shave just a little off the end of the stick. This has actually been perfect for us, as we store butter after we've opened it. I like the larger size too, and it just looks GREAT in a modern kitchen. So in the end, I think we love it more than anything else we could have chosen. It's beautiful, and functional.

This is a high-quality dish. The bottom is hollow, but still has some weight to it. The top is solid, pretty thick, and has some weight to it as well. The bottom and top are polished and have no rough edges. The logo is on the side of the top and it's pretty small. I don't think it's that noticeable, but it would be nice if it was placed in another location.You will have to cut a stick of butter in half to get it to fit in the medium dish or cut about two tablespoons off two sticks.Overall, I'm very pleased with this dish and will be purchasing another one for cream cheese.

My pelugra fits perfectly in this butter dish. The dish washes up beautifully and does not show any wear from knives.

Started on grass fed butter, so we needed a bigger butter tray. I thought it would hold 4 sticks, (we have 7 kids) but still very nice. We use ours upside down, since it's easier for our kids to replace the "top"

High quality, surgical grade steel.Flawless build.Compact proportion, but nice heft.Will accomodate a whole kerrygold 8 oz block. (The holder comes in 2 sizes; make sure you get the medium for that.)The logo mentioned by another reviewer is tiny and subtle.Much better than glass which can chip. Best material to keep clean.Of all the stainless holders I've tried, this tops them all in quality and design.

The first butter dish ever to properly serve butter, and it's beautiful.

I bought this butter dish so it would match the other stainless items on my countertop. As you can see, it just (barely) holds two small (4 oz) sticks of butter. And I am unable to find any butter knife that will fit inside, even when there’s just one stick in it. While stylish, the cover shows every single fingerprint, so I find myself wiping down the dish whenever I’m wiping the table to get the prints off of it.

Wir suchten eine Butterdose aus Edelstahl das auch in das Butterfach unseres Kühlschranks passt.Diese Dose ist Top, passt hervorragend in das Fach. Ich bin sehr zufrieden, finde das Produkt aber im tatsächlichen VK zu teuer. Wenn man es im Angebot für um die 30/35 € erstehen kann, dann gleich nehmen.Neben dem ungünstigen (UV)Preis gibt es zwei Dinge die mir aufgefallen sind:Der Boden der Dose ist glatt, erwärmt sich die Bodenplatte rutscht die Butter beim abnehmen hin und her. Da wäre es gut, wenn der Boden die Temperatur des Kühlschranks länger halten würde. Theoretisch könnte der Boden, der hohl ist, entsprechend mit geeignetem Material gefüllt werden, um die Temperatur länger zu halten.Der Boden ist auch auf der Unterseite sehr glatt, hat wenig Reibungswiderstand und lässt man im Kühlschrank das Schiebefach für das Butterabteil versehentlich offen, öffnet die Tür dann, dann kann es passieren, dass die Butter aus dem Fach rutsch. Hierfür habe ich mir, passend zur Farbe des Butterfachbodens eine Anti-Rutschmatte besorgt, passend eingeschnitten und nun keine rutschende Butterdose mehr.Wir haben zwischenzeitlich noch eine andere Butterdose in Edelstahl besorgt, die um die Bodenplatte eine Erhebung hat, wodurch die Butter beim abschneiden, abschaben etc. nur wenig hin und her rutscht. So ein Rand ist praktisch, sieht aber nicht so schön aus und die Reste der Butter muss man auskratzen. Bei der Blomus-Basis kann man die Butter fast restlos abstreifen ohne irgendwie dafür hantieren zu müssen.Insgesamt finde ich die BLOMUS Dose ästhetischer, sie sieht wertiger aus. Allerdings zahlt man dafür etwa den doppelten (U V)Preis einer einfacheren Butterdose aus Edelstahl.

Ottima burriera in acciaio spazzolato esternamente, e cromato sul piano di appoggio del panetto di burro.Avrei preferito un po' di aderenza tra base e coperchio, ma resta un prodotto bello massiccio ed elegante.

Looks good and nice quality, my only gripe is that it needs little spikes or something on the base to grip the butter and keep it in place or it can slide about while using it

Diese Butterdose hat sich bei uns inzwischen im Alltagseinsatz bewährt. Sie ist sehr formschön und wirklich gut verarbeitet, mit schön mattierter Oberfläche außen, die nicht leicht verkratzt, nahtlosen Verbindungen und einem gut schließenden Deckel. Wir benutzen sie hauptsächlich für veganen Butterersatz , der meistens etwas weicher ist, und haben deswegen keine Probleme mit einem "Verrutschen" des Butterstücks. Der luftdichte Hohlraum im Boden sorgt für längere Kühlung auf dem Tisch. Die Dose ist auch (vor allem bei größeren Händen ;)) sehr gut zu handhaben und durch die Rundung unten sicher mit einer Hand zu transportieren. Durch ihre Kompaktheit nimmt sie nur wenig Platz im Kühlschrank weg.Von uns eine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung!
