My first time using this on natural, black African hair (about an inch in length) and I love it! I spray my hair with water then use a leave in conditioner before using this sponge. It's super easy and the result is great! Really helpful to help me still feel feminine while growing my hair out after losing it to chemotherapy.

Bought for my son, his hair looks much better when he's used the sponge as it gives him curls and eliminates the frizz.

Works well on my sons 3c hair

Having bought a similar one from another vendor which lasted for a couple of years before it started falling apart, I find theis one a waste of money. Not sturdy, started to fall apart in the middle after about a month of use I find.

The glue separated on one side which left the majority of the sponge dangling.
