I'm losing size and needed to punch holes in my existing belts. This does the job well. I have to punch the first hole and follow with a second hole to lengthen it a bit to allow the belt buckle to fit. Not a tool for someone who needs to punch a hole in leather every day, but for quick one-off jobs, this will be sufficient.

Perfect!! Needed extra holes in my Birkenstocks. Easy peasy and way more convenient/cheaper than taking them to a cobbler. I also need more hold in belts. It will be great. Should have gotten this long ago.

This leather hole punch set works well for its intended purpose. The 6 different sizes cover most belt and leather craft needs. The punch mechanism is fairly smooth and makes clean holes. The rotating head design is convenient for selecting different sizes. It handled my leather belt without too much effort. My only complaint is that it takes quite a bit of hand strength to punch through thicker leather - would be easier with longer handles for more leverage. But for the price it's a decent tool. Works fine for occasional use and lighter leather projects.

Very flimsy material. Didn't cut through a regular belt even with hard squeezing. Returned.

Works perfectly for my son's new belt and also to punch holes in new Ballroom dance shoe straps. Much easier than trying to hammer a nail through the leather. Make sure you squeeze the tool till you hear it clip or snap noise. My son was worried he would ruin it so it took him a minute to be a big more aggressive with the tool so it would punch through all the way. Plus we turned over the belt to punch again on the other side to clean up and left of leather in the hole we made. Worked fabulously!

So far this works great. Tried it on a synthetic belt and it worked like a charm. I had previously tried to create this hole in this belt with a kitchen knife, because we were in a hurry to leave and the belt didn’t fit, so the edges of the hole are a little bit messy because of that, not because of the tool itself. Will try it from a fresh part of the belt next. Each of the hole punchers on the tool has a taper at the very end, making them very sharp; so when you apply pressure to the belt, the sharp edges cut easily through the belt material where you are trying to make the hole. You have to wiggle it a little bit and apply some pressure, but I am 30 and mildly-our-of-shape and I could do it myself. Would recommend.

Is not the sharpest and doesn't do a smooth cut even with the thin belts. I don't think this will work fine with thick belts
