Collins Business Regal Week to View with Pencil 2022 Diary - Black, 392BP22

I have been using this diary since 1975 and I find it perfect in every way. It fits in my pocket, it contains all the information I need, and the daily space is just enough for my entries.

Have used the Collins diary for some 10 years with no trouble. The diary arrived without the pencil. Contacted Amazon who arranged for a replacement the following day. The replacement came with the pencil. However, it was impossible to detach the pencil from its holder (plastic tube) by hand and had to use a tool. The tube was too tight for the pencil to be taken out by hand. I removed the tube and wrapped some tape around the pencil and it's working now. It was a disappointing purchase.

I am reluctant to write a critical review of a product that I have previously thought highly of - it's basically a great little diary, but something has gone awry with the 2022 version. On receipt it was impossible to remove the pencil by hand. Having hammered it out I discovered that the plastic tube in which it is retained is essentially too small for the pencil (the 2021 pencil didn't fit in either). Because I like the diary so much I engaged in some judicious filing of the pencil top, and eventually got it to fit. Please go back to the drawing board Collins.

Collins have always been good for stationary.

This product is tiny, about half the length you would expect of a slim diary. Only 11cm instead of 17cm.Waste of money and postage.Will have no use for it.
