I absolutely love the CHI G2 Flat Iron! It heats up quickly and glides smoothly through my hair without pulling. My hair looks straight, smooth, shiny, and much less frizzy after using it. The 1.25-inch plates are a great size for both straightening and creating soft waves or curls. It feels sturdy and professional, and the adjustable temperature settings are very convenient. Overall, this is a great-quality flat iron and definitely worth having in your hair-styling routine.

A good flat iron is a must for me. I’ve had quite a few but I’ve fallen for the gimmicks; fancy displays, fans, sleek looks, etc. Some were good but each had its faults. I had a Chi that was probably 20 years old when I decided it was time for a change. I did a ton of online research and was on the verge of buying a very expensive one like Dyson. Consistently, Chi was listed as the best on the market. I was surprised that it was also among the most affordable. My old one was still alive and kicking but I felt it was time for a newer technology. I had confidence that it would be durable. The iron was packaged beautifully and was easy to operate. It has a beautiful digital display but otherwise it’s simple and elegant. It screams quality. Heavy but not too heavy for ease of use. Every one I’ve ever used has snagged my hair. Not this one. It glides through my short, somewhat fine hair like a dream. It leaves my hair soft, straight and shiny with minimum effort. For me, the amazing stand out difference is that my style STAYS. With all others, my set only lasted for the day it was done. With this iron, my hair stayed straight for DAYS using less heat than others. I’m not sure how it’s possible but it’s huge to me. No 2nd and 3rd day touch ups, which is so much better for my hair! I’m so glad I chose this product. Ditch the bells and whistles and just get the very best! I hope this review helps someone decide. The CHI G2 flat iron is a winner! I have long, thick hair that tends to soak up humidity and of course that causes frizz. This flat iron with its digital temperature controls work exceptionally well on my hair and allows me to consistently get salon quality styling at home. My hair remains smooth, with a nice sheen and it does not frizz up in the humid weather. I am very pleased with this flat iron. To protect my hair from heat damage, I always use a heat protectant on my hair before using my CHI G2 (or any hair straightener), and I make certain that the heat protectant has had a chance to completely dry (or I gently blow dry it) before using the CHI G2 flat iron. I love my CHI G2, it gives me the confidence to do my own hair and it saves me money on salon visits. LOVE IT!!!

I’ve gotten 10 great years of use out of this! I’ve accidentally dropped it countless times and used it so, so many times, yet it has still managed to last this long. It may not look as appealing after all these years, but it still gets the job done! I especially love it for styling my wavy hair and creating soft, mild curls, which is mostly how I use it. Definitely money well invested!

Heats quickly and has a really long cord. I like this iron a lot. Just wish the cord came with something easier to store.

My daughters love it, I bought it for 1 of my daughters and they all fight over it. I will have to buy another but no big deal, so worth it! .

I’ve seen some of the reviews and was skeptical at first however I love love love this straightener. I have had several high-end brands and this one blows everything out of the water. I have thick Asian hair that sometimes is hard to keep curls in, but the straightener does it all day in hot, humid weather.
