Kensington Pro Fit Mid-Size Wireless Mouse, Graphite Gray (K72423AM)

Really enjoying this mouse. My old mouse gave up its life so I desperately needed a new one. I was searching many mice to determine specifically if it was compatible with Windows 7. Yes you heard that right. I have a dinosaur of a computer, Windows 7. This mouse IS compatible with Windows 7. It works great. And the ergonomic grip was also a must so I don’t get hand fatigue.

I use this at work for my everyday mouse paired with an HP laptop running Windows 7. It's been almost two months now and I'm still on the original batteries. I searched awhile to find one with side buttons, and this one includes that very nice added feature that isn't always included on inexpensive mice. Good feel, seems reliable. It's pretty much attach and go. About the size: I don't like using a tiny travel mouse while traveling and a larger mouse at my desk. I'd rather use the same mouse in every situation. This "mid-size" is a good option as it is smaller for transporting yet large enough for regular use. I have what I would assume are average sized man hands, 9" between the tip of my thumb and pinky finger on my open hand. The mouse is not too small in my opinion. (Note - I bought this to replace a Microsoft branded travel mouse that was nice, except that the rubber around the wheel eventually stretched to the point where the mouse wasn't usable. This Kensington design seems much better suited to everyday use.)

I bought this mouse after much browsing to replace an aging Logitech mouse, which had design-based issues from day one. As I work from home, I spend almost all of my time using a mouse - this one has rarely left my hand in the month since I got it, and here's what I think: Pros: *Price - Less expensive than most other mice of its kind, and barring some issues I'll cover later, very much worth it. Amazon's offer for a much lower figure than its standard price is certainly helpful in that regard. Great for most budgets. *Accuracy - Doesn't care what surface it's on, and maintains its connection even without line of sight to its transceiver. The optical lense is very tolerant of dust and such, so it takes far less maintenance than (for example) Logitech laser mice. *Looks - I got the red one, and while it may not look like some sort of sci-fi prop, its sleek-yet-flashy look is still pleasing to the eyes. More importantly, it's comfortable and easily portable at the same time! Cons: * Numerous structural problems, not the least of which is the poor fit for the mouse wheel; mb3 will only click at certain angles or with more force than should be necessary for a button of its type, due to it snagging on the inside of the shell. Secondly, the left and right button plates are prone to snapping slightly into the casing below them, which can have a minor impact on mechanical responsiveness. Lastly, and likely least-importantly, is the flimsy battery bay door, which is prone to popping open if the mouse is dropped (which should not be common, but wireless mice can get away sometimes from certain workspaces!). This shoddy worksmanship is the only reason I'm not giving this mouse a 5 star rating.

Reliable and had to replace the exact one because misplaced

This is the second time I have purchased this mouse (my first one fell apart after more than a decade of use!) It is the only mouse that comfortably fits into my hand and has a sleek ergonomic design that makes it comfortable to use. The fact that there are no cords is an added bonus! Wonderful product - highly recommend!

Maybe it works fine on PC, but it's pretty useless on a Mac. There are no drivers and no support, so the extra buttons will never function properly. Mine also will not stay connected. You know what's worse than a mouse that doesn't work? One that works 7 seconds out of every 10. The cursor will just freeze and a second or two later, teleport across the screen. Then it's fine a few more seconds and repeat. I had a Logitech wireless mouse that I plugged in and it just worked. Time to get another one of those.

Raton muy bueno y funcional

Ich war schon seit einiger Zeit intensiv auf der Suche nach einer kabellosen, komfortablen und soliden Maus ohne großen Schnickschnack. Bei den üblichen Verdächtigen bekommt man scheinbar entweder den billigsten Schrott (wackelt, klappert, schäppert), oder man muss sehr tief in die Tasche greifen und eine Gaming Maus nehmen, die man vom Funktionsumfang evtl. gar nicht braucht (Laser, 1000 Tasten, alberne Beleuchtung). Von Kensington hatte ich vorher noch gar Nichts gehört, aber aufgrund der positiven Erfahrungsberichte habe ich mich doch dazu hinreißen lassen, auch mal eine solche Maus auszuprobieren und was soll ich sagen, ich wurde nicht enttäuscht. Solide Verarbeitung, schnelle Reaktion, präzise Zeigerführung, ansprechendes Design, nicht zu schwer, nicht zu leicht, nicht zu groß und nicht zu klein und das alles zu einem moderaten Preis. Ich kann nur jedem Empfehlen, der auf der Suche nach einer produktiven Maus ist, dieser hier mal eine Chance zu geben.
