Works great for the money
I run a little pressure washing business on the side and this works well with my 3100 PSI 2.4 gpm pressure washer. My pressure washer already has a built in soap dispenser, but I don't want bleach running through my pump, so this was a great solution. I put a gallon of 10% Sodium Hypochlorite plus a little laundry detergent into a 5 gallon bucket and then siphon it out using this chemical injector and the black tip soap nozzle on my wand. It mixes well. There is an adjustment as well so you can either turn it all the way off, siphon a little, or open it up all the way to get maximum chemical pulled in.There are 2 downsides, but not a big deal are:1. It's fairly small, and it will tend to curl up and float on the top of your solution if you are using a bucket for your chemical. It still siphons fine, but I added a piece of pvc pipe to help weight it down. It still floats on top because pvc pipe also has to be really small and so it still doesn't sink to the bottom of the solution while in the bucket. So I need to add some more weight to it so that it will sink. My guess is that this product is designed to be used with a 1 gallon container such as Crud Cutter or something like that.2. When I roll my pressure washer around, I have to make sure the hose is out of the way or I step on it, which is a little bit of a pain, but it still works ok.I would recommend this for the money.

Works well, one non-critical design flaw
Installed on a 3000psi/2.7 GPM troy built residential quality pressure washer from Lowes. Injector when opened all the way up and using the soap (high flow) tip on the pressure washer pulled about 0.25 GPM. The soap tip on the pressure washer put out about 2 GPM - so mix ratio was 1:8. Ended up using 10% bleach in a 1:1 ratio, so final mix was 1:16 bleach applied to the house - worked well. For reference - 1 gallon of bleach with this setup cleaned ~4000 sq ft of vinyl siding. There are no instructions with this thing, but if you install it backwards you'll know because it won't pull anything and most of the screw connections will be leaking. My pressure washer has a short metal pipe that screws in to the pump on one end, and the hose for the wand on the other end. To install, I had to remove this pipe, screw the injector directly into the pump, and screw the metal pipe into the injector. Actually - the injector comes with a quick disconnect, and that is what was screwed into the metal pipe. The design flaw is the strainer end that goes in the bucket of chemical-to-inject actually floats - so you have to weigh it down with a rock or something. Seems like a really simple fix the manufacturer could do...

Does not work under pressure.
Wasted money, does not pickup soap when pressure washing. Only operates on low pressure, the same as the intake on my washer. Twenty ywo dollars wasted, save your money.

Great Buy
Very nice strainer and valve setup, but very touchy on suction control for flow rate. Very easy to open valve just a little too much and the next thing you know, your detergent bottle is half empty. Overall, this is a great buy.

Works well
This works well but they really should use a heavier filter that sinks better. Also the arrow indication the direction of flow could be larger for us dummies who assemble things before looking at them closely. Once you get it installed it works great.

An excellent kit for a good price.
I see that today (10 April 2017) this soap injector is not available. I hope that it returns soon because it's a great product at an excellent price. The two quick-disconnect (QD) fittings that are supplied with this injector are worth the twenty bucks or so that I paid for the entire kit. The injector itself is also an excellent piece. It has a screw-in valve to positively shut off flow if desired and a check valve that prevents backflow from the pressure washer supply into the soap bottle/tank.Since you can leave this permanently attached, I did that. I removed the male QD fitting from my pump outlet and screwed the injector directly to the outlet. I did use the female QD fitting on the outlet side of the injector.Whether you thread this on, or use the QD connections be sure to pay attention to the direction-of-flow arrow on the injector. If you install it backwards it won't work. This kit is worth more than the price I paid and I'm happy I found it. Highly recommended.-- Loren

The soap/ chemical injector on my 12 y/o 3000 psi ...
The soap/ chemical injector on my 12 y/o 3000 psi Ryobi would not work. Ryobi no longer makes this part. I was unable to directly thread this part into the machine as Ryobi threads in the machine are proprietary and did not match any standard fittings. My local ACE hardware was able to find a coupling to allow me to attach this part in series to the existing soap injector. It worked flawlessly with the original washer wand. As noted in another review, I could not get the injector to work with my 20 foot (?) extension wand

Great injector.
Still going strong after 6 months of lots of 12.5% sodium hypochlorite. I've had other brands fail after a week. I'll buy more of these. To those of you saying it will not draw I'm willing to bet you installed it backwards. These injectors are designed for 2-5gpm machines, and it's probably drawing around 15-1 on 4 to 5gpm machines, and around 20-1 on lower flow machines. It's YOUR fault if its not drawing because you installed it backwards dum dum. The only flaw of these injectors are the filters. Go ahead and invest in a brass filter and trash the plastic one that comes with this kit. I do this for a living and I can tell you that you will need to replace the filter before the life of the injector is over. Buy a brass one. They last forever and are heavy enough to keep the suction hose in your chemical tank or bucket or whatever you use for your bleach.
