When I was shopping for this item I was looking for something that would easily wrap around my knee AND came with a clay hot/cold pack. This was priced right and fit the bill perfectly. Since I needed it for post ACL reconstruction surgery recovery, I needed extra ice packs to use in rotation. In my search for a similar generously sized ice pack, I found these gel based Ice Pack Sheet (ASIN B075WN2G21). They have worked perfectly to keep my knee cool. The strap extensions worked great to attach the ice pack around the knee immobilizer. I have also found the neoprene cover to be excellent at insulating the packs from the room and thus they stay cold for a remarkably long time. The stretch fit of the neoprene allows me to move around without the ice pack slipping around. Overall a fantastic product!

I had an episode with bursitis in my shoulder and was advised to ice it at least three times a day. The bursitis irritates my elbow as wetland can become debilitating. I saw the reviews for this and thought that I would give it a try since my normal ice packs were not big enough to cover the whole area and it was hard to hold them where I needed them.This thing is awesome!I love that the clay is moldable so I can actually shape it with my fingers to better fit the shape of my arm if I need to. This ice pack can be used on almost any part of the body! The straps are adjustable and hold it in place. It fits well on my shoulder and holds the cold long enough to readjust it and then use it on my elbow and forearm.Be aware- what makes this work so well is its size and adjustability. The downside it that it takes up more freezer space and has straps that may need to be stored separately.For me, this is a small price to pay for the comfort it delivers.

Great product, very comfortable, ptivides even cooling. I haven't used it for heat yet so not sure. Easy to place in and remove from carrier. Quality materials large enough to fit over dressing. Okay, finally had a chance to use it to warm, I followed the instructions on the clay pack, worked great! I did stop at 30 seconds and kneaded it and flipped it, then another 30 seconds (directions call for 1 minute on high). Opening in carrier for clay pack is large and allows for easy access.

This is THE most versatile ice pack wrap. I've tried a number of wraps, but the velcro applicator and receiver areas are rather limited. For this wrap, you can apply the velcro anywhere on the wrap, and the material is confusingly soft. I am extremely happy and satisfied with my purchase. Though I have some criticism, this quality of this product well-exceeded the price.My main complaint is that the ice pack only stays cold for about twenty minutes, which isn't ideal when you have constant pain. The clay pack isn't anything special, despite what it seems. Of course, replacing an ice pack is easy. The sleeve of the wrap is a great size, capable of fitting most sizes of ice packs.Happy shopping!

I absolutely LOVE the gel pack. It's thin, gets cold quickly, stays cold, and doesn't take up much space in my freezer. The product photo shows the model standing with the wrap around his knee. While the wrap is of excellent quality and workmanship, it fits, and comes with extenders to accommodate wrapping around the torso for back pain, I found it isn't intended for walking around if worn on the leg. First, there are no hinges, so your knee has to remain straight when wearing it, and second, I couldn't keep it from sliding down. This isn't really a "complaint," just a statement that when nursing an injured knee, be realistic about the level of activity that can be done while icing it. If I need to sit at my desk and work, I can wrap the knee with confidence, knowing the cold back won't slip off.

I had this product for 5 months and the clay pack came apart at the sealed edge. It's too late for a return apparently, but five months is a very poor length of time for a product like this. I would not recommend this product due to that fact. It's unfortunate that it is apparently poorly made because I really did like the product.

I have some chronic tendentious in my elbow area and I need an ice pack that I can secure by wrapping it around my arm. That’s why I bought yours. I don’t like fidgeting with the velcro or like to have someone help me wrap my arm every night. What I do is wrap the ice pack around something round like a large water bottle and put in in the freezer. That way all I have to do is slide it on my arm every night. However, when I slide it on my arm it is very painful. The clay is as hard as a rock and the mesh lining of the wrap feels like a cheese grater on my arm. One of the reasons I bought this wrap is because the description says that the ice pack remains flexible for easy use. I have to be honest, it does not remain flexible. It literally feels like I’m trying to slide my arm through the hole in a brick.I give this two stars because it is still usable as a flat ice pack but it is not what I needed.

The heat/ice pack is well made. It has written instructions on the heat/ice pack so no need to keep the box with instructions. The cover is great. It is study and very well made. The velcro straps are strong and versatile so you can place it around any joint. However, the part of the wrap that comes in contact with skin is very thin and not very comfortable. Most importantly, the heat/ice pack itself is very, very thin and doesn't provide much heat/cold therapy. I would purchase the cover individually (despite the inside not bing very comfortable) and buy a different hot/cold pack.

My husband has a chronic upper arm/shoulder issue; the clay heat pack eased his pain after working too hard and golfing too hard too!He really appreciated this Father’s Day present.
