The storge unit is made of material with a sipper to close it up. It says its waterproof material but really I don't think I would have it some where were water would be a problem. The inside is basic: empty bag until you put together all these cut out slots to make it a 128 ornament storge. The cut out slots are just cardboard and not heavy but flimsy. The slots wil hold small to standard size ornaments; big ornaments no no no. The only big con I have is the price; $24-27 depending on the color is way way over price for some material and cardboard the you have to but together yourself to make slots. I brought mind when it was on sale for $17.99 which I still think is over price because the same company also makes christmas tree stoage which I only paid $12.99 and that storage back is twice the size of the ornament and also waterproof. Would I buy again yes but not at $24-27, if it was $15 sure but right now its way over price when you can truly buy a storage container that would hold 400 ornaments and you would have to make your own slots but you would only pay about $18 at home depot.
