Delivered very fast, right on time for Xmas.Beautifully made and a nice piece of decor.

I'm really surprised that this lovely product hasn't got better overall reviews than it has. It's true that the drawers are small, so you have to plan the contents accordingly, and I can see that some customers did not receive their calendar in entirely proper order. That didn't happen to me, and maybe it is an issue that has been resolved. But also... this product is *beautiful*. I bought it for my Mum, who is extremely hard to buy for, and she was moved to tears, describing it as an 'heirloom'. I've put in nice notes for each day of Advent, folded very small and decorated, which might be a good idea if you are struggling with the size of the drawers. Very good value, and a great part of any Christmas.

Wanted to get my son an advent I could put bits in of decent quality. Something to avoid the annual Lego or lindt calendar which is £20+ spent on about £3 worth of chocolate or plastic.Yes, this fits the bill! Buy this! I'm really impressed with the quality, size and look of this advent. All perfect and intact and with correct drawers etc. Really well packed too despite the fragility.Well worth the money!

We liked the look of this versatile Nativity advent calendar especially when lights switched on. Chest of drawers allow the owner to place different tiny surprises/sweets/Bible verses/savoury treats into the boxes for the recipient children.The drawers, however were very tiny and will not accommodate for example the wrapped Cadbury sweets. The centre drawers are even tinier, so some other innovative surprises have to be used. I would use tailor made home treats and tiny cards with relevant advent time Bible texts for early learning. Recommend if for instance wanting to avoid giving children sweets. You can put into drawers more edifying stuff, which of course involves more work and imagination. This calendar serves years to come. I am very pleased. Thank you.

The whole family loves this. It’s really pretty and well done. The drawers are big enough for us. The kids love finding something new in there every day. Dried berries, little pretzels etc. Sometimes I hide several more inside the middle picture for them to find. And if the item is too big for the drawer, I just leave a little message/riddle in there for them to solve and find the real hiding place around the house. I suspect 24th will become a big treasure hunt :-)

For a similar price or only a few pounds less I have seen many similar versions but unpainted, sometimes flat pack. This is worth every penny! It looks stunning and is simply but well decorated. The drawers are a perfect size (photo next to coaster for scale). I only need them to put in some small pieces of paper but you could fit in some sweets or chocolates (7 sweets on the picture). I only wish the drawer knobs were more prominent, maybe little balls, so they would be easier to grab - that'sthe reaskn for dropping 1 star.
