WHAT IS THIS BAG DESIGNED FOR: This bag is designed to hang over your stick shift, across the back of your headrest, or wherever you can think of! This bag is NOT designed to hold drive-thru trash, bottles, cans, etc. This bag IS designed for all that small trash that tends to clutter up your cup holders and such. Dimensions are 12" tall x 8" wide. THE STRAP SYSTEM: The strap measures approximately 25" long and can be attached in one of two ways: on the side for hanging from a stick shift or in the center for hanging across a headrest. The strap attaches with a heavy-duty snap. Once snapped in place, simply wrap the other end of the strap around the shift/headrest, thread through the buckle and tighten as needed. Tuck the excess strap in between the inner liner and the outer fabric case. You can remove the bag without unthreading the strap, simply unsnap the bag and the strap will remain installed. ANATOMY OF THE BAG: Measures 8" wide and 12" tall. There is an inner liner and an outer case. The outer case is made of the decorative fabric which is lined with black canvas for stability. The inner liner is made of black post-consumer recycled plastic and is specially designed to stay open for ease of use while driving. This plastic liner is not 100% leak-proof so be sure to use plastic baggies for added protection. Insert a plastic bag and tuck the excess in between the two layers along the top edge. WHAT KIND OF PLASTIC BAG DO I USE? Included is one roll of plastic baggies (15 bags per roll). You can purchase similar rolls from most pet stores (doggie clean-up bags). CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Hand or Machine Washable. Remove strap and inner liner before washing. Air Dry or Machine Dry. Light Iron may be needed.

So functional and cute at the same time
I've had this in use in my car for 4 months now. It works out perfectly. I love that the opening stays open so no needing 2 hands to throw something away. I keep mine in the foot well on the passenger side in the front seat, so it's reachable by the driver. I hang it from the gear shift with the included strap. I also like that it comes with small trash bags that stay in place by snapping them in with the cloth cover.The only minor fault I find with it is if were a teeny bit smaller it would be better, but I have a really small car. My passengers never complain though, it's only that it looks slightly in the way, but has never been an issue.And yeah $20 bucks seems a lot I suppose, but I tried 2 other car waste bins that didn't work out and this one has. The others wound up in the donate pile and this one is a keeper. I haven't replaced the inside trash bag (yet), but imagine I will one day or when I happen to throw away something wet. In the meantime I just empty out the whole thing each time I fill up at the pump and the bag simply stays put.Keeps my car clean.

I bought this even though it was pricey, and it was worth it! It looks great, keeps my car free of all the little bits of junk that used to collect everywhere, and it stays open so you don't have to fight with it to put something into it. I like that it came with a whole roll of bags/liners.
