Night & Day Furniture Sagebrush Murphy Cabinet Bed

This is a great bed. It is easy to deploy when you need it, and when it is put away, it just looks like a very nice and substantial credenza. It is solidly constructed and looks high end. The memory foam mattress is surprisingly comfortable. I did an overnight "test run" on it, and slept very well. My guest, who is a larger individual, also said that the bed felt stable, was very comfortable, and she could not feel the platform or slats underneath. She also appreciated the integrated USB ports and outlet on the side. I feel like I can offer guests a place to sleep and not feel like I need to apologize in advance.I am very happy with my purchase, and VERY happy that I bought white glove delivery and assembly. This thing weighs almost 300 lbs in the box. There is no way in heck I could have gotten this from the truck into my house. Also, while the assembly process did not look overly complicated, it did require inverting or laying the unit down on its side a few times during assembly. If you are pretty strong and have a friend with decent core and upper body strength, you could likely do it. :) For me personally, this was not possible.

I love the look and functionality of this Murphy Cabinet Bed. Very solid piece of furniture. It took 2.5 hours for my husband and I to assemble it. Instructions were very good. The mattress was thin and when I laid on it, I sunk down and could feel the wood platform underneath. (I weight 140lb). I ended up purchasing a 3" topper from Amazon. The topper made a HUGE difference and my visiting daughter said it was very comfortable. Unfortunately, I have to store the topper in the bedroom closet when I fold up the chest. In hindsight, I should have purchased a high quality folding mattress to replace the one I received.

Cabinet was damaged during shipping. Customer service immediately called and ordered a replacement. This bed is so comfortable that you’ll want to use it everyday. Cabinet is solid - heavy duty and looks great. Highly recommend.

It is solid and very comfortable. When in use feels like a "real-permanent-memory-foam-bed", very comfortable.And when not in use, it folds up nicely. It's kind of big, even when folded (think about the size of an old electronic organ) but that's to be expected and I am fine with it. Make sure you pay attention to all dimensions if you want to fit in a small room.I was able to fully assemble it by myself in about 3 hours. But I can see how this is more of a two-person job.

Great communication!!!!! Bed arrived on time, no delivery issues. Was easy to put together and the mattress is very good. has a few small places that need touches . They are sending a paint pen for that. Very easy to work with highly recommend this company .

We placed this in our office and it has been great. I am 6'3" and 235 pounds. The mattress is very firm, but perfect for me. A nice piece of furniture and the charging port is a nice touch. Only complaint was small rub mark on the side the occurred in shipping. It is very easy to open up and not too heavy to open. My wife has no problem opening it. Much more comfortable than an air mattress.

TOTAL BUMMERWhite glove delivery service was not offered or availableI was shocked to learn that be at home for delivery meant nothing other than watching in horror as one poor guy tried to get this off the truck w/o hurting himself (because pallet was too narrow for his lift) ... only to realize that I had to hire movers to get the dang thing inside my house - which took days to arrange and then most have a 2-4 hour mininumluckily I had some other things I could use help with but having to pay $300+ more to get the thing inside AND additional assembly was required even though I paid $700 more for the version where the cabinet was pre-assembled!!!! AND I now have to deal with getting rid of industrial strength cardboard, styrofoam and a wooden pallet that no residential waste company would take in a garbage can even if you managed to disassemble it into smaller parts. SUPER ANNOYING!! Then the customer service was appalling. First guy I talked to acted as surprised as I was that it was delivered to the curb. He asked me to send him my receipts of the moving company I had to pay to ACTUALLY deliver it to me in my HOME! and the mess left on my front doorstep, which I did immediately. But he gave me a total song and dance about how he was going after the delivery service they subcontract to because they paid nearly $500 for delivery and it's supposed to be 2 guys and inside the house. He basically said that unless they got a refund on the bungled delivery I wouldn't get any compensation.Days later after many phone calls and emails, I finally get a terse email back telling me how lucky I was to not have to PAY for delivery or taxes and a link to the shipping policy which does indeed say curbside delivery. I still paid $2000 for this bed plus $320 or my own movers to get it into the house and assemble (bottom to base, side shelves - about a half hour's worth of work) !!! I am 50 years old, a single professional woman who has no means of moving a 300lb piece of furniture around. I have ordered many furniture items in my life and I have NEVER had anything delivered do my doorstep. That is ridiculous! If I had known this was the case, I would have shopped more and found another company who offered delivery and assembly service. I guarantee you I would not have paid more than $2k.

Just what I needed to get my husband home from rehabbing a broken hip. He was having a tough time getting stairs under his belt. Being able to get this type of Murphy bed that did not need my handyman to anchor anything to the wall was critical for me. We sleep comfortably in our family room and it easily folds up during the day so he may walk around our family room without interference. Wish I had had it 8 years ago for his back surgery recovery!
