It works! Less stinky than other tanners 👍🏼
I used to use this product a decade ago or more, so I decided to try it again. I’m on a budget and need a white girlie tan! 😆 This in-shower lotion was under $10! I’ve always liked the tan I get from Jergen’s gradual self-tanners, both the lotion and this product. I feel like this one is a little quicker to develop compared to the regular lotion. I attached a pic of my leg 3 days apart. I applied “medium to deep” after my bath 2 nights in a row. I noticed a subtle glow the first time, and now I think I’ve achieved the light tan I was going for! I don’t want to look too dark or fake, so now I’ll just maintain it by applying it every 2-3 days. It doesn’t stink nearly as much as others do. It’s a little perfumey, but I like it. I haven’t gotten too many streaks or patches. No color on my clothing or sheets. When I wake up, I smell a faint fake tanner smell, but it washes away. If I can’t shower right away (like when I have to take my son to his bus stop), I just wipe off with wipes and use a smelly lotion…. It works! My tips: Apply it to freshly wet skin, but start with a quarter-size amount. I do my upper body first, use the leftover on my hands to apply to my face, then do my lower half. I avoid going between toes and fingers. On the second night, I also avoided my knees, ankles, and elbows. If you have dry skin, apply a small amount of regular lotion to those areas first (even on damp skin). Scrub any areas that look too saturated to achieve an even tan. Slightly orange in pics, but in person it has a healthy glow and looks richer! Makes me feel more confident in shorts and at the gym. ☀️

Easy way to build a natural glow!
I really like how easy the Jergens Natural Glow In-Shower Lotion is to use. It fits seamlessly into my normal shower routine, which makes maintaining a sun-kissed look much more convenient than traditional self-tanners. The lotion applies easily and rinses off without leaving my skin feeling greasy or sticky. I like that the color develops gradually, giving me a more control over the depth of my tan and helping create a natural-looking glow rather than an overly dark or orange appearance. The medium-to-deep formula is great when I want to build more noticeable color over time. It's also nice not having to worry as much about the mess and waiting time associated with traditional self-tanning products. Overall, this is a convenient, easy-to-use option for maintaining a healthy-looking glow. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants gradual color without adding an extra step to their daily routine!

Beautiful and Natural
I wasn't sure how I was going to like this, but I was pleasantly surprised by it! Only taking a star off because I couldn't really tell where I had already applied it and if it had been thoroughly rubbed in, but it ended up nice and even regardless. The smell was pleasant, it applied easily, and the color developed beautifully and naturally. I'd recommend it for beginners and experts alike.

Natural Looking Tanning Cream
There are so many bronzers and tanning creams on the market and have tried many, but I have stuck with this one the last 3 years for several reasons: 1. It works and you can see a difference within an hour, and intensifies throughout the day.2. Its tans a nice bronze instead of looking orange or over done, it’s more natural looking. I buy med to deep tone and have light skin. 3. It does not rub off on your clothes. Past tanning creams I’ve used would stain my white clothing. I haven’t experienced that with this cream. 4. It has a pleasant smell and consistency. The tan lasts 4-6 days. I apply it once a week. A few tips; be sure to rub it on evenly so there are no streaks.( I made that mistake the first time) I wash my hands right after so your palms aren’t tanned. Lastly, I take a blow dryer after applying to quicken the drying process.

Aggressively Patchy
I honestly have no idea how this should be properly used, because per the instructions ain’t it. I’m Casper levels of pale and use the non-wet glow version yearly, so I’m used to using a similar product for a gradual tan that makes me look pleasingly less like a cadaver. I decided to give this version a go three days ago and it has been a hilarious series of WTFs ever since. I did my shower thing including gentle exfoliation and, per the instructions and common sense, applied evenly to my damp skin. I let it soak in completely while I got ready for a wedding. Thank GOD I was wearing a midi with long sleeves, because, within an hour, I was Gob from Arrested Development: “I’ve made a huge mistake.” Pros It certainly does add color to your skin—probably 3 shades after first application Not too orangey Moisturizing Mehs Ok maybe a little orangey Cons No matter how you apply (and I’m a massage therapist for gods sake, it’s the one thing I am sure I can do), you will look like a Jackson Polluck painting and/or like you peed yourself and the pee tracks removed the color, but all over Will I be returning it? No, because I have convinced myself I can fix this and have had some success strategically applying to completely dry skin and standing like a statue until it dries. I’m way darker than I was aiming for after two applications but I’m hoping I’ll cover the most inconsistent spots before my naturally tan SIL can give me the “oh honey” face when we get together in Mexico in three days. Stick to the normal formula; it’s tested, tried, and true.

Works great and amazing for price!
Works great!! Works best with damp skin after toweling off a bit. Moisturizing too. A teensy bit streaky, but it may be my application because I haven't used tanner before (so beginner friendly). The smell is really nice too, but doesn't last too long. I love it!!

Goes on evenly
I love this lotion. Doesn't streak or turn orange. Can apply while wet straight out of shower. And doesnt stink like many sunless tanners

Dab, dab, dab to make your tan fab
This product does work, it just doesn't work how they say it should work.... I'll wait while you sit down in shock. Big surprise right? But it does work. I waited until I bought my second bottle to give a review. I honestly didn't think it worked... Well..I thought it gave a nice "glow" to my skin, which is how it is advertised, and it certainly is a great after shower lotion but at first, I wasn't impressed with how it tanned. I was prepared to give it 4 stars based on that. However I really didn't think it did work as a tanner, as I was following directions, and was only getting the glow. Then one day after showering and putting the product on, I was very rushed and didn't towel off at all and got ready completely in the buff until I was dry. That night I noticed some dark streaks in the area around my ankles so that made me think it can work, so I started playing with it. This is what works for me. Shower as normal (I already use a scrubby but once a week use an actual exfoliator), before getting out I wrap my hair in a towel, and use another towel to dab off excess moisture, then I use the lotion and get out of the shower. I have a tall, slim fan that I then angle into the bathroom and use that to help completely dry off. This helps prevent streaking. I just do my normal routine of getting ready... But in the buff in front of a fan and I get a wonderful tan. You can skip the dabbing dry and just the lotion on and go in front of the fan but it seems to be more streaky for me. I have also found you can mostly dry off and do this but I wouldn't put clothes on immediately. I have never had an issue of it staining my clothes but by air drying for a good ten minutes it really brings the tan out. I love the product, but you have to work with it to see what works best for you. I recommend the dab, dab, dab to make your tan fab (it is simply logical... For those that get the reference lol).

Passed the white sheets test
I shower before bed and was worried about white sheets and tanners. After 2 nights no issues and am seeing a bit of colour. I am light skinned so am glad it's gradual. It also leaves skin smooth and a nice smell.

So convenient
I’ve been using fake tan forever (since 1989) and this is hands down the most convenient non messy fake tan I have ever used. I bought Jergens Natural Glow in shower gradual tan so that I could keep my fake tan going during a holiday, I don’t lie in the sun because I don’t want skin cancer/aging/leathery skin. I didn’t want to have to take extra time to tan or risk getting the guide colour of my usual fake tan on clothes and bedding. I trialled the tan before my holiday and ditched my usual fake tan for this. It was brilliant, I showered every evening before going to dinner and applied Jergens. The colour isn’t the best I’ve used but it’s good, the smell is fine too although did seem to get a bit stronger after using every day for a fortnight. It doesn’t colour towels, bedding or clothes as far as I can see. I have found that I get the best most even results if I use a damp facecloth over my wet body to mop up excess water before application and then air dry before dressing. I’ve also used the lighter colour but find this darker shade more suited to my needs.
