Q: How do a change this to normally closed on the relay? do not see how to do this

There is a small 3 pin connector on the RX unit, the unit with 4 wire connections. The 3 pin connector on the top portion of the board has a 2 position jumper cap on it. I believe the left 2 pins make it normally open and the right 2 pins make it normally closed, or vice a versa.

Q: Is there an app for this? There are no directions or instructions. How does it work?

There is no app for this, but there is a instruction in the product package. When used for anti-theft, it needs to be matched with the alarm host. This can not be used alone, but it can also be applied to other devices that require switching signals.

Q: How do i hear the alarm if this is outside and i am inside?

There is no alarm, you would have to wire the relay output to activate one if you wished.
