Just didn't need dog food at this time

I think this is good food for my puppy. However today when the bag arrived the box was torn open and the dog food bag was torn as well. Not sure this is the best way to get my dog food.

I'm sure the quality of this product was perfect, but none of my dogs (five) would do more than sniff it. I even tried adding a bit of flavor to the product, but for three days, it was like my dogs had gone on a hunger strike. So now I'm back to the Nulo product they love.

My puppy developed skin allergies and pretty much nailed it down to good. I switched him to a one protein source Nulo and no grains until his skin was improving. Now I can get different flavors and he is ok. He was raised on Blue Buffalo but I read the lawsuit against them and now there is a prop 65 warning on that brand.

My dog loves this food. I feel like a good and responsible owner when i give it to him. I am writing this review especially to commend the companies involved on their satisfaction guarantee. I purchased a large bag of food and recieved the package very quickly. Upon opening the box and removing the paper within i noticed a small cut on the bag. I assumed this happened during storage and before shipping since none of the packaging was damaged. No big deal, this kind of stuff happens in a warehouse. I filled out a questionnaire on Amazon, expecting perhapse a partial refund. To my surprise, a new large bag of food was shipped to my house immediately and i was trusted to dispose of the damaged bag and food therein myself. I was made whole without any suspicion. Nulo made no complaint and my puppy was well fed. Thank you, everyone.

Our Havanese puppy loves this--the salmon flavor. The food product itself is excellent, but I do have an issue with the packaging. We first bought the 4.5 lb bag, which looks exactly as pictured, and is very conveniently resealable via a typical built-in ziplock at the top of the bag. We went through the food quickly, so next time ordered the 11 lb bag, which appears identical to the 4.5 lb bag, but just bigger. Beware, though: the 11 lb bag, though identical to the 4.5 bag in every other respect that I can tell, does not have any built-in means to reseal the bag. I don't get it--why design a very convenient feature into the small bag, but not the medium-sized bag? It's not like the 11 lb bag is SO much larger than the small bag that a ziplock wouldn't work. Without the ziplock feature the food spills more easily if the bag tips, and of course the you (and the puppy) can smell the food much more easily since it's not tightly sealed. Seemingly small design features like this make a big difference in customers' experience!

My Samoyed pup came from her breeder on Nature's Domain puppy from Costco. As we went through one bag of that we were looking around for a good replacement made in the USA and we read good 3rd party reviews about this. We also wanted to keep her on a grain free kibble. There was absolutely no issue with the transition and her BMs were good throughout the change even though we only had 4 days worth of Costco food left to transition her by the time we got the new food. She seems to like the food and eats it just fine. She is very energetic! Keep in mind that sometimes it takes more than 2 days on Amazon Prime to get these big bags (24 lbs) delivered but Amazon's price was much better than my local shop.

It's the same food our little Yorkie puppy had been eating at the pet store before we brought him home, at two months old. It was recommended partly because is is free of grain. He's been with us two weeks plus now, and puppy likes it and the "results" are easy (I almost said "pleasant") to deal with.

I really wish this was as good as the reviews. However, my cockapoo puppy literally wouldn’t even eat it. He basically starved himself for 3 days avoiding it until I finally went and got a different kibble. I tried mixing them together…he would sniff through and only pick out the other kibble to eat. I unfortunately got this giant bag and now have wasted over $100 on kibble my dog won’t touch.
