Bought this for a senior at Carolina that is a diehard Gamecock fan and helps with equipment for the football team.

I usually avoid these types of books at all cost. They tend to be a re-hash of the same stories that you have heard for years. I am a long time Gamecock and one day on a whim I purchased the Kindle version. It turned out to be a pleasant surprise. While many of the stories are ones that I have heard before the author has done a great job of including current quotes from the people involved. This gives the book an almost conversational feel that makes the stories I have heard before seem fresh and new. There is also a great mix of old and new stories so it does not seem that you are grinding through a history text. I recommend this book for all Gamecock fans

Great read, I would suggest it to any South Carolina fan! Has a lot of history that most fans don't know about and its fairly current with some stuff about JD Clowney in there.
