After getting my gallbladder removed a year ago it’s really cool to “have one” again. I work in a restaurant where there is a lot of fried food and I joke about how I can’t eat that stuff my gallbladder is metal. It’s cute and a nice size. Makes people wonder what a gallbladder does too

I got this as a gift for my boyfriend, as he was going to be having gallbladder surgery. Three days before surgery, the doc told him he was all better & didn't need surgery. It is a very good possibility he'll still have surgery in the future, so now he'll always have a gallbladder no matter what. I gave this to him when we found out he was ok (so they say) and he got a good laugh at it. He said he'd have to show it to his doc next time he went in. It is well made, has a good weight to it & looks like it will last for years to come.
