Takes your wet shaves up a notch
Great product gives my skin a nice refreshing feeling. I use this with a supply single edge razor and get a very smooth comfortable shave. No nicks either. I love the smell classic masculine scent. I recommend this product

not bad but would not buy again
It takes a lot of work to build up a good lather but once you build one it is very nice. The smell is not very strong nor does the smell last. I was hoping for a cool tea tree tingling feeling with the soap but was left wanting but it did help with a close and clean feeling shave.

Great shave soap!
I had been looking for a shave soap to use with my brush and figured I would give this one a try. I have used other products from Vintage Grooming and they have all been great. The first thing I noticed when opening the lid is the great smell. It lathers good using my brush. The ingredients allow the razor to glide across the skin with no issues. I have sensitive skin and have never gotten razor burn or any other irritation since using this shave soap. This is definitely a product I would recommend, you will not be disappointed.

Simply not good….
The soap has a fairly strong tea tree scent off the puck, but this minimizes significantly once you work up a lather. The soap requires a good amount of water and patience to build a mediocre lather at best when I attempted to bowl and face lather with a synthetic knot brush. The performance is similar to the quality of the lather. It’s not particularly slick and doesn’t provide great cushioning. The post shave feel is definitely a high point. I do like the packaging. The old school decals and gold tin are a nice touch. At even the $10 I paid, there are better options out there for less money or only a few dollars more. I’d recommend looking elsewhere.
