FLSEPAMB Kalimba Thumb Piano, Kalimba 17 Keys with Learning Package (Blue)

Item was as described, was a great gift!

This was bought as a gift but we opened it, tuned it and tested it first so we could demonstrate what it can do. It's so much fun, we'll be buying one for ourselves, too! It sounds very soothing and there are lots of songs online for you to learn. You do need to tune it upon receipt with the little hammer it comes with and using the tuning app they recommend (it's a free app). Then it remains in tune for a reasonable amount of time. It's pretty looking and sturdy and easy to pick up for beginners. Highly recommended!

Great quality, wonderful sound! I have yet to tune it, but even out of the box it is very nice to play. And for that price, it's probably the best value for money musical instrument I ever bought!

A real pleasure to look at and touch. I was a little afraid to tune it as I felt I had to hit too hard and would break it. But with a Kalimba tuner app I managed it and it will give me a lot of fun. In gradual doses as it does hurt the thumbs at the beginning

to be clear i have never played the kalimba before, and i ordered this on a whim, after tuning it for a few minutes i was ready to go. it sounds great and plays well.

Hubby loved it

Very attractive and lovely sound

Arrived really quickly and contains everything you need. Getting it all in tune was a little tricky but once that was done it was super fun. Makes a lovely sound and it's easy to learn.

Das Oberbeste daran: Sie bestimmen, was darauf läuft.

Love love love. Ordered 4 more for gifts. Great looking, good sound, easy to use.

Love the product. Best buy. Melodious sound.

I bought this inexpensive Kalimba, to see if it will work for exercising my stiff, RA thumbs. Much more than I expected for quality, sound, accessories, etc., for the cost! With a musical instrument background (accordion, piano, organ, melodica, autoharp, guitar, clarinet, etc) I found this very easy to play a melody line, but I really want to learn more than the melody line. Within 2 days I was playing a couple of favorite songs with harmony, another with chords to supplement, and almost grasped a favorite with arpeggio harmony! (I will reward myself with a 38-chromatic key, once I accomplish the song with the arpeggio harmony.) This instrument is great for any age. The sound is lovely, and I like how portable. As well, hubby has a hearing issue and is often under headphones to watch videos; it would be too noisy for him, playing any of the other multitude of instruments that I have, but this doesn't disturb him! It may not sustain like the more expensive, but it does resonate enough for learning. (Lie most the 2 highest keys mostly plunk, but not unexpected with the high-pitched, short tines. A chain & hooks ( less than $3) can be easily mounted if more resonating/sustain is desired. for what little this instrument cost, I would be tempted to put my own eye hooks into the end of the top bridge and add a chain from costume jewelry, to see how that would work. The manual is somewhat useful for those who know little to nothing about music. But, one does not have to know how to read music, because number tabs can be used! I highly recommend this for cost, quality, accessories, and tone. All those positives makes it 5-stars for its cost!
