This whistle is compact and loud. Fortunately though we've had no reason to use them but we always take them with us.

Bought for keeping in our rucksacks while out fellwalking. They are nice and loud and just what we wanted.

Considering how overpriced are some whistles even if they are made from a bit of cheap molded plastic just because they are a little bit louder than the competition, and how much offer this thing with its above-average loud sound, decent build that will take some abuse, yet costing only 1/4 of the Nitecore NWS10 titanium whistle I bought for 20 pounds which while being a far better keychain option due to being less than half of the volume, thus barely noticeable in your pocket, you need to ask yourself how much you are willing to pay for these generally overpriced things unless you using them on regular basis or really want that less bulky keychain.Of course, once you look at the value of some survival kits from China at a similar price, you will start scratching your head even with this purchase, for example, I bought last year one of the 14-in-1 survival kit plastic black boxes with a flashlight, similar whistle, fire starter ferrocerium rod, compass, emergency blanket, etc. for 12 pounds until they start selling a little bit too fast and eBay sellers hiked prices to match demand with supply, so nowadays you may need to look at aliexpress to see how ridiculously overpriced some of these things are, as people generally have no idea how much it cost to produce them in China where you can get them far cheaper as long as you are willing to wait for weeks and risk problematic returns...

I got this to have on my hiking backpack incase of emergency. Didnt realise it was a 2 pack so that was a nice surprise so also have one on my daily keys just incase. Exceptionally loud. I had to test it out obviously. And got everyone looking at me in disgust as I was in the cinema at the time. 10 out of 10

Bought it annoy cold callers, so loud it hurts my ears more than theirs. Good personal alarm

Not loud enough

Fantastic design and surprisingly good value. Great colour. Great sound. The lanyard that comes with it is high quality too. Very happy.
