KamikMen's Yukon 3

These met my expectations, exactly what I was looking for. I walk through rain, snow, mush and mud at many factory parking lots that are unpaved and these are perfect for my needs. Fit was good and quality seems great so far. The arch support (and overall insole) is only a 3.5 star but I add the Spenco insoles (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000Q8SR42/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_6?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1) to all of my shoes so this was not an issue for me. Use while driving was good as well which was a concern when I ordered these. Many boots with heavy, deep lugs are troublesome to drive in for long periods but these were very comfortable.

I hike in the woods every day with my French Brittany. This time of year (Spring) the mornings are often wet, and sometimes getting wetter. Even water proof leather shoes don't hold up well. But, these rubber foot shoes are perfect. This pair arrived just in time for a 4 day rain event. They are perfect.

Good looking shoe. A little tight in the toe box. Not to the point of discomfort. So far they have performed as expected walking my lab on the farm. It has been pretty wet here but so far so good with dry feet.

The construction of these is top-notch. They are solid. The sole does have large lugs so they do pick-up mud and rocks. Not for walking inside after being outside for work. Nice toe cover. Not steel but it will protect your toes from impact and bumps. Used these for two days, working on a ladder with no foot issues from a soft soled boot. I am a 8.5 foot and ordered a size 8. Fit well with heavy socks. Nice toe box. These are not insulated and my feet did get cold with lighter socks. Note that the tongue has no gusset so you can only immerse up to the top of the rubber sides, where the leather starts, thus the 4 star rating and not 5. No option for 4.5. Not overly heavy. Would buy again.

Great product highly recommend

I wish I had listened to the reviews on here stating that the shoes run big. They do. I ordered a pair in my size and they were too big. I then ordered a pair that's a full (or half a size) size down from what I'd typically wear, and they fit well enough. But the main issue is that regardless of what size you get, the area around the heel ALWAYS runs a little loose. It's like they didn't know how to design the part of the shoe that wraps above your ankle. There's alot of toe room, the sides are snug enough. The main issue is the opening you slide your foot into. And it's not like you can just correct this by tightening up the laces, because that will just make it tight around the middle part of your foot but still loose around your ankle. It sort of feels like wearing flip flops; it doesn't grip. This issue wasn't so terrible that I felt like returning the second pair I got. They're not flopping around or anything, but it's noticeable compared to more conventional shoes. I'm going to keep them and just deal with it. It's not like the shoes are going to fall off or anything, they're not THAT loose, but they really need to be JUST A LITTLE BIT TIGHTER around the ankle area. I'm surprised that the manufacturer, Kamik, hasn't corrected this problem after so many reviews have been posted over the years citing a similar issue. I own another, different, pair of Kamik's 'Tyson Mid Boots', and those are pretty much perfect. I love the way they look. I think Kamik is a great company and the footwear they make is incredibly stylish and comfortable. The Yukon 3 'duck shoes' are also really stylish and nice looking. They're beautiful pieces of footwear. I feel really cool wearing these and the mid boots. The Yukon 3 just need to be a little bit tighter around the ankle. That's it.I doubt the issue I mentioned extends to their other styles, so, regardless of what you decide on this pair, maybe take a look at Kamik's other boots and shoes as well. They're usually insulated, and they've all got a really unique look to the brand.

I was looking for rain footwear that wouldn’t be too warm in moderate temperatures. I also wanted something that would be easier to walk in than knee-high rubber boots. These waterproof ankle boots were perfect, and they fit just right, too. They’re made in Canada, and the Canadian craftsmanship shows.

They look great and probably very durable. Size was correct, yet the fit was loose and sloppy feeling even when tide tight.

Ich habe die Schuhe noch am Liefertag anprobiert: schon beim ersten Reinschlüpfen stellte ich fest, dass der Schuh perfekt paßt. Dann war ich 1 1/2 Stunden im stetigen Nieselregen mit unserem Landseer außen. Die Füße blieben warm und trocken. Bin somit sehr zufrieden. Die Schuhe sind leicht und angenehm zu tragen.
