Awesome and Quiet!
This generator is awesome. It’s got a remote start key, push start, and a pull start. It runs off propane or gas which is convenient. It’s one of the quietest gas gens I have heard. It started on the push button the first time I started it. It has two handles to carry it from the top. So it’s easy to take off my truck bed. It’s fairly light. I’m 62 and I can lift it up and down from my truck bed. It also comes with wheels and has a pull out handle to roll it around. The value for what you get is excellent. Westinghouse makes it super easy on the operator.I would definitely recommend this generator to anyone who is in the market for something portable & easy to use!

Very good quality and quiet
The generator works like a charm right out of the box. You only need to connect the battery (not difficult but very tight quarters) and fill in the oil included in the shipment (so far the only drawback I could find: very impractical, almost impossible to avoid overfilling and spilling oil. Clearly not well designed). Otherwise the iGen5000DFc is quite impressive, especially for the price point of under $800): Started up the very first attempt, very quiet for a generator (obviously you can hear it but the noise is quite moderate), plenty of power, and easy to manoeuver with the collapsible handle. So far a solid investment.

Pleaseantly surprised by quick set up and electric start!
Box arrived damaged and unsealed. No damage to product. Set up was quick with oil, battery, and propane accessories included. Once everything in place, the inverter started right up with the push button start. I let it run with a variable load for the engine to set in. Ran flawlessly and quiet! Shutdown was just as easy and it was easy to maneuver/pull with the two silver handles on top and the the reinforced "cooler-like" retractable pull handle. Seems to be a great value.

remote control starter
We haven't tried to run it for long since we haven't been out camping yet so we only started it to see if it runs and how loud it is. Pretty quiet for the size and power of it. Love the remote control option which will come in handy when out in the cold. It is quite heavy but has a sturdy handle you can extend out for pulling it in place. Tires are somewhat bigger so it should be able to push over rougher terrain. Only 4 stars due to the little amount of time we have it and haven't had a chance to try it on location as of yet.

iGen500DFc Inverter is just what I was looking for...
Many features included make it easy to use in many different applications. Directions were very good and had no issues when trying to start it for the first time. One of the main features I was look for was an inverter that could use multiple fuels. The main intended use is for emergencies like after the loss of power after hurricanes. Another feature I like is that the unit is very quiet while running. I'm very happy with my purchase and recommend it if you are looking for an inverter.

Nice Generator
This review is for initial impressions only since I just received the generator. The generator was packaged very well and included good documentation with a quick start guide. The generator has a nice fit and finish. After adding oil and connecting the battery the unit started immediately and ran smoothy and very quietly. I applied various loads in both eco and normal mode and the generator responded nicely maintaining a steady voltage while remaining reasonably quiet. This generator has some weight to it, so I'll probably get some ramps to aide with loading it into and out of the pickup truck.

Excellent product, incredibly fast shipping ... read the instructions
Bought this shortly after my neighbor got his. We were all so impressed, now several people in my neighborhood own one.Likes:- Extremely quiet - quieter than my other neighbors Honda that only makes about 1/2 the power.- Plenty of output for most home uses.- Well packaged ... comes with everything you need, including tools- Extremely well written owners manual (they weren't kidding about checking the oil when filling it up for the first time either. It starts to get full at about 0.5 qts ... not with entire bottle that comes with it. You can probably imagine how I figured that out)- Is fairly easy to roll around, especially with the built-in handle.- Shipping was extremely fast ... particularly with over 1MM people out of power. Hurricane Helene knocked our local power out on a Friday, and my neighbor ordered one from Amazon that day. His was delivered Tuesday!Dislikes ... I'm reaching a bit here:- For some folks, the unit may be fairly heavy (I believe it is about 60 kg / 120 lbs or so - check the specs on the listing) If you want one that is easy to pick up and move up stairs, you may want to get a lighter / less powerful model ... or get a longer extension cord. I think the weight of this is reasonable for how much power it produces, and is no problem at all for me to roll around on a relatively flat surface - like a paved driveway. I could pick it up if I needed to, like when I got it out of the box, but I'll try to avoid that in the future.Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase. Once I saw this thing in action, I had to have one.
