Mine was a two wire but had a five wire conductor with the other three bent back so I just landed a random color wire to make the third wire on both the controller and the damper. The shaft on my round damper isn't difficult to turn, making this damper motor ideal. Not sure how you would attach it unless the handle is removable. Even if this were the case, I think this product is too wide and would interfere. **Q: What is the circular black nema-1 piece of plastic that looks like it can be turned with a screwdriver? Just used to open the plastic enclosure?** A: HI that is a 0/1 reversing switch, switch it and the motor turns the other direction. This is one feature that makes this motor so versatile. **Q: I bought two of these from RetroZone but didn't get the self tapping screws.
